Hotel Centrale

Loved this hotel absolutely perfect location and a lake view is a must. Breakfast buffet style which was lovely and evening meals were fabulous. Loads to choose from the restaurant menu. Lovely staff very helpful. Very clean rooms staff all work very hard and are a credit to the hotel. Will be back.

5th time in this Hotel, great value via TUI, clean tidy room with aircon and lake view. Choose to pay supplement from half-board to eat outside with full menu. Wine by the litre for €10 was great and fillet steak for €20 super value. Nice friendly staff whi coped well with my English attempts at Italian....

Lovely and clean, we had a room at the back so able to get a good sleep every night. No wifi in rooms, some of our messages actually came through from TUI 11 hours after they were sent. staff a little surly. Difficult trying to work out what food we could have on menu,although the food was very good. not explained by tui. We also found no notice boards for TUI customers in the reception if we wanted to talk to a rep.

Hotel was in perfect location. Walk out of entrance directly into square overlooking the lake. We booked two rooms one having accommodation for three people. I would say some more shelving in wardrobe area with extra coat hangers and shelving or hooks needed in bathroom. Bedroom nice and clean. We had rooms in the back of hotel which wasn’t a problem for us. Staff very pleasant. Breakfast was self service food to good standard. Evening meals you could choose from restaurant menu. Plenty of selection and good quality. The only thing I would suggest is for staff to explain clearly what is available as people have been confused on what to have. We had a 3 course meal no problem within the deal.

Enjoyed our week's stay beginning of July. A friendly welcome when we checked in would have been a good start. First impressions are always important and, after a long journey, we don't expect a frosty reception. None of the staff on reception were welcoming. Hotel is in a wonderful location, but we knew this being repeat guests from a few years ago. Travelled with TUI on a half board package. Refurbished room was a nice surprise. Booked a lake view room and were very lucky to have a high floor room with a Juliette balcony. No room for furniture on the balcony but it was great nonetheless. Storage in the room was very good. Good A/C. Don't normally use but it was definitely needed! Extremely good walk in shower, always appreciated. Hotel is just a brilliant base to explore Melcesine, Limone and Torbole. Enjoyed the ferries and exploring the area. Definitely recommend the Ponale path from Riva for breathtaking views. We must add our thoughts regarding the restaurant staff. A massive 'Thank You' to Oleg, our waiter in the evenings. We remembered him from our previous stay. Such a lovely and helpful guy!! The chef used to come out of the kitchen in quieter moments and was very friendly. The food was always very good. Some of the other waiting staff need to learn how to smile!! Overall, very good holiday.

We stayed at Hotel Centrale from 22nd-29th July 2023 and had a great time there. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location. We had a great room with a lake view and a lovely balcony overlooking the square, where you could listen to the free live entertainment most evenings and take in the atmosphere of the place. The hotel was clean, and all the staff were very efficient and extremely hard working and helpful (used towels were replaced daily). At breakfast time you can sit out the front of the restaurant, but in the evenings Tui guests do need to sit inside (as the restaurant has lots of walk in customers and it gets very busy). We didn’t really find this a problem. We enjoyed the food and the service we received. We went here for my birthday and had a great time. Thank you Hotel Centrale 🤩
