Hotel Kristal Palace - Tonelli Hotels - Adult Friendly

Can only echo what some other reviewers have said. Staff are really friendly (special shout out to Zane who waited on and was very personable and happy). Food is excellent but have to say the pasta courses were our favourite. We enjoyed the sky terrace and loved sitting out there for our breakfasts with the amazing views. The Egg Men did a fantastic job and we are missing the Nutella and Banana Crepes. We also enjoyed the music up there in the evening, and the guitarist who played the two Sunday mornings we were there was so talented. Our room was fine but the sliding wardrobe doors drove us mad as they wouldn't stay in any position other than closed. Also the leatherette on the doors was looking very scuffed and untidy. I celebrated a birthday whilst there and was treated to a half bottle of fizz and some cakes, and for our wedding anniversary we received complementary drinks with our meal. The hotel do put on various activities and have bikes that you can borrow - unfortunately one day when I wanted a bike the two that were left were unusable. The brakes on the bike I did manage to borrow a different day were in need of adjustment so the hotel could do with improving the bike maintenance regime. Other than than, loved the hotel and location and would return, although as others have said, we might try for B&B just so we could have more flexibilty with dining in other places.

I went for a relaxing weekend with my sister and I can say we had a really great experience in this hotel.The roof top terrace with the swimming pool has a fabulous view to the mountains and the lake.The breakfast was very rich and the hotel staff are extremely professional and polite .We had also dinner and it was high class!we came by car and it was really easy to park just outside the hotel.The room was very clean .Definitely coming back !

The weather could have been kinder but this did not detract from our stay. It was my wife's birthday and they gave her a small bottle of prosecco in the room and a birthday cake at evening meal (I emailed them for this and they were quick to respond). She was very happy and surprised. Staff: The staff are all excellent, very professional and friendly at the same time. Give a special thanks to Zane and Yuri especially as they looked after us during our meals and were always happy, smiling and chatting whilst remaining very professional. Pool/Bar: The pool/bar on the roof is really good and the staff here are also excellent. Views are great too. Reception: Reception was easy, explaining about the area, the Trentino card (and showing me how it worked 😀) and where to go to catch the local bus etc. You may need to ask for the Trentino card which allows free transport in the region and some free access to sites e.g. Arco castle. Cleanliness: Spotless and clean. This can't be faulted. Food: What can I say! The food was Michelin quality. didn't want or need to go anywhere else. 5 x courses for the evening meal. Room: The room was adequate as unfortunately there were several places that needed redecorating. Few scuffs and scratches and I think for a 4* superior hotel then I would not have expected this. However, the shower was one of the best and the room was large and spacious. Entertainment: Very good. All of the entertainment artists were of a very high quality and we enjoyed them all. Location: Just right. No noise from outside or the main road, great views. About 20 minute walk to the centre around the lake edge. Very nice though. Overall: Highly recommend the hotel and we will stay again.

Great food, great staff. Free bikes to borrow. Excellent location near the lake in a quiet area. Only things to improve are the rooms need some updating, if you are vegetarian then the evening meal options are a bit limited and bland, and getting faults fixed took a couple of asks rather than one. However would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

A returning stay after visiting last year. This hotel is fantastic . Food and bar are excellent and the evening entertainment was excellent. The staff are so attentive , knowledgeable and nothing is ever a problem. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Riva Del Garda.

Had a great holiday at this hotel. We booked a deluxe room, thinking it would be quite special, but please note, rooms are basic and are in need of refurbishment. We asked to get moved but was told the hotel was full. Apart from this the food was great, staff were pleasant and really helpful and hotel very clean.

Had a lovely stay, hotel was spotless, rooms cleaned daily. Staff were amazing, very attentive and helpful. Breakfast choices great, freshly cooked omelette, crepes... Evening dinner, very high class, some simplified choices would have made it a little easier. View from roof was amazing, pool a little small, so heated up, like jumping into a bath. Lake was lovely, much cooler, but need shoes to access. Was not aware of complimentary mini bus for town until I read previous review on return, but maybe not a bad thing got my steps in. Walk to town was flat and manageable. Panoramic lift is a must, stunning views.

We arrived for a holiday needing relaxation time & we got this & much more. From stunning panoramic views to having a great culinary experience (Matteo the dessert chef is a stand out!), the hotel has so much to offer. What I would suggest is a few points; to separate smokers from the pool/breakfast area as this is problematic for Asthma sufferers, enable the air con to be lowered from the default position (it was really hot during our visit) and offer a simplified menu (perhaps pizza etc) for younger visitors. The overall experience is amazing and will visit again. Thank you!

A fantastic resort in a beautiful, idilc location. We had a wonderful stay, and highly recommended it, we will be sure to go back! The staff were friendly and the food served was wonderful! The staff at the bar in the evening were perhaps a little short staff and therefore we had to wait a little while. However when the did serve us our drinks came out quick, so no major issues. A really lovely, clean hotel with beautiful scenery!
