The room hardware condition is average, domestic three-star standard. The service is better, there is no supermarket around, you can have dinner at the hotel. "I stayed at a hotel in Interlaken during my trip, and overall it was a great experience. The location was perfect — close to the train station and easy to reach all the main attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was really good — fresh bread, cheese, fruits, and hot options too. It definitely made mornings easy and enjoyable. Just a couple of things to note: • No hair dryer provided in the room, which was a bit unexpected. • The hotel also requires a deposit at check-in, so be prepared for that."

"Friendly front desk staff and the hotel location is gorgeous. The frontdesk helped me with an early checkin and also upgraded my room with a bath-tub. The view from the room balcony was Mesmerizing and nothing short of a heavenly view… The breakfast was descent, however a little short of vegetarian options. The chocolates at the reception desk were amazing, better than Lindt. I wish I could know where they sourced them from😁 Harder Kulm (Top of Interlaken) entrance is just in front of the hotel. The market is at walking distance and also the OST station is very closeby. Thanks Carlton Team for making our stay pleasant and memorable… Ciao!"

Not enough electricity plugs available for charging 4 devices (phones and tablets). Beautiful river facing from the window. Conveniently located near the train station and shopping."

"The room is not big but clean and tidy. Every waiter has a good attitude. Compared with Interlaken West Station, Interlaken East Station is quieter and it is absolutely OK to sleep at night. It takes seven or eight minutes to walk from the hotel to the East Station and five minutes to Herweg Street (the main road of the town). A small part of the hotel is an apartment for the elderly.
