Premier Inn Reading South (Grazeley Green) hotel

Very clean and lovely place to stay. Easy to reach location.

The hotel itself was fine and what’s expected for a premier inn. However we booked breakfast in the morning and when we met up with family to eat, the booking they made at reception desk didn’t make it to the pub where the food is provided so the rest of the family was turned away. The hotel blamed the pub and the pub blamed the hotel. They both stated they were not associated and rather than resolve they just blamed each other. This had a big impact on our onward plans.

One of the best Premier Inns I have stayed in. The rooms are clean, nice sized rooms, good in-room facilities too. Ricky the manager is very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. He’s a gem! Plenty of tea and coffee if you need more!. Couldn’t fault my stay at all. Have stayed here several times for work and have always been impressed.

Lovely staff, room all ready on our arrival with 2 extra beds set up in family room, bathroom and bedroom very clean, very quiet, easy parking, lovely restaurant adjacent and all decorated for Christmas! Really good price on room plus kids had free breakfast with me so overall really happy with Premier Inn yet again!!

Visited for one night when staying to see local family. Initial impressions were great. In the middle of no where (so quiet) and lots of car parking spaces. The receptionist was very friendly and we also had an easy check in. Once in the room, it was obviously dated. There was mold in the bathroom and the entire place smelt a bit ‘damp’. The shower head was old and had a poor spray too. Once we got into bed, we felt the mattress was really uncomfortable (which was odd as we usually like premier inn beds). The pillows were incredibly thin also. We managed to sleep until about 3am when we were woken by a child next door coughing and coughing. We totally understand that this isn’t premier inn’s fault however we had a partition door between us and the room next door and this meant we heard everything really loudly from their room. We also noticed in the morning that they did not do a full buffet premier inn breakfast for those who expect to have one. Parking is free. Overall, we probably would choose to stay elsewhere in the future.

The receptionist, Mabel was so lovely! She was very helpful for a last minute booking and ensures we had everything we needed. Made the experience very easy after a stressful night trying to find a hotel. Room was clean and the pub next door is fab
