Very nice clean hotel would definitely stay there again. It was also nice getting a free upgrade on the room. Witch had kettle, microwave, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. The room was like your own flat. Only down side to it was the shower was pretty crap. But you can put up with it for few nights.

Very good British basic three-star rooms below have no slippers. This is a four-star location, but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste. You need to bring your own. There is a computer in the lobby. Breakfast can be printed for free. If you want to eat Chinese food and breakfast, you need to charge another five. You can cross the road to the subway station, but the British subway law and order is very poor. There are a lot of subway thieves. Please don't bring too much cash. You can use the visa card to swipe the card anywhere. Don't worry about carrying a 100 pounds. enough

Good location, five minutes walk from Reading Railway Station. The entrance is a street garden. Opposite is the office building. The room was on the back floor and looked like a new one, but it didn't taste much. The room is large, the bathroom is large, and it is very comfortable. Breakfast is not bad, there are not many options, but it tastes good. There is a parking lot.

Located in the city center, a five-minute walk from the train station, there are many surrounding living facilities. The rooms are clean and well-equipped and cleaned once a week. There is no air conditioner and the temperature in Britain has been high recently, which is a bit difficult to receive. In addition, the surrounding bars were full of enthusiasm and it was not until the middle of the night that they could be quiet.

The only problem is not to have lifts, for those who come with heavy bags is a problem and door noise hitting all the time, hell!

I had a great stay at the Ibis hotel. The hotel staff were professional and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. My only inconvenience was the card key used to access the lift and rooms: it uses a magnetic stripe, which is easily disrupted by any RFID devices. I had to have it recharged three times as it did not work; I think this is quite an old-fashioned system and it needs to be noted that many travellers will have RFID devices which will affect the card.
With that said, my overall experience was positive and I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Perfectly suited to family or business stays, Novotel Reading Centre sits in the heart of the town. Many of Readings best restaurants, bars, and shops are just a stone throw from the hotel. This room was amazing for the price. I asked a quiet area of the hotel and was put on the 12th floor at the end of a corridor and couldn’t hear a thing. Staff were efficient and quick to respond. Room was super spacious - modern bathroom with bath (from which you can view the tv!) and separate shower. Comfortable sofa. Lots of space. Handy mirror angles. Only downside was I don’t think the room had been cleaned in a couple of weeks / hasn’t had guests because it was VERY dusty. And the milk curdled in my tea and left it ‘chunky’ which was fairly rank. Aside from that would recommend and would go back.

Everything has a price!
The characteristic of the UK is that everything costs money, and there is nothing wrong with it except that it is expensive! Commercialization is everywhere. I forgot to bring an adapter, so I asked the hotel front desk to borrow one. The reply I got still rings in my ears: we don’t have adapters to rent, but we have adapters to sell!

IIrene YipWonderful room and hotel facilities, lots of parking spaces. Just next to Costco and stadium. Have stayed here twice and will come back again.
AAnonymous UserPerfect for me as it’s right across from the office but probably not so great if you wanted to be in the city centre although it’s only an £8 taxi ride or £2 bus ride. Opposite a Beefeater which was handy but I would prefer an on-site bar and restaurant. Felt a bit uncomfortable on check-in to be asked if I was a smoker (I’m not) and if anyone would be joining me later 😳. Didn’t like the bed being made up with sheets, blanket and counter pane as it’s quite uncomfortable particularly on one of the hottest days of the year although the mobile air conditioning unit helped (first time I’ve had sheets and blankets for over 30 years since the day I got married despite extensive business (weekly) and leisure travel (4-6 times a year)). Hotel was very clean and the bathroom was well equipped. A bottle of water would have been a welcome addition to the room particularly in such hot weather. Not sure who to recommend the hotel to as it’s neither a corporate hotel with all the amenities or a home from home. Breakfast was on offer for an additional £15 and I decided to wait until I checked in to see. As I wanted to be in the office for 8am and there was no menu available, times of service or visibility of a dining room, other facilities or even other guests, I decided it may be too intimate and opted for a cold sandwich I had stored in the office fridge ‘just in case’. Was similarly priced to the executive room I had in the Novotel last week which had a full buffet breakfast included.
YYUKII work at Hotel in Japan, but there were so many things that I have to learn from the staff here in Holiday Inn !!
Staff were superb!! Always smiling, she tries her bestest way to meet the needs of her customers, and her customer service is very attractive.
Also, the breakfast was great, not only the menus, I was impressed by the efficient and smart movements of the staff members.
I definitely recommend this Hotel as staying here is absolutely a part of our good memories.
AAnonymous UserStayed temporarily for one night when the rent expired. The location is very good, located in the city center, downstairs is a popular bar, very lively on weekends. The hotel decoration service is interesting and the store also sent beer.
Ssolo _travelerA lovely, central place. The staff provided excellent hospitality and the vibe was amazing. There are many things to do, such as playing table football, reading a book, etc. What exactly you need for relaxing!
GGuest UserA great room for a solo traveller, a huge king size bed and all facilities. They do tend to put singles in the Wellington lodge which is a 10 minute walk to the pool facilities.
IIrene YipLocation is great, 4 mins off Costco and supermarket, Burger King, nandos next to the hotel. Check in is quick, room is great and quite clean. Will definitely come again.
TTCKCThe hotel is close to Reading Railway Station. The location is convenient and within walking distance. The room is small and the place is clean. It is suitable for a stop for a day or two. There are large supermarkets and liquor stores nearby, which are enough for all your needs. In particular, behind the hotel is the Thames River. The scenery is superb. Swans roam, cruise ships shuttle, geese and teal fly together. It is an unparalleled secret in the world. It would be a pity not to visit if you stay here😁
VViggiReally loved everything about this hotel - from my stay to the food and it’s location close to the city centre. Will definitely choose to stay here every time I visit Reading! Staff is really friendly and helpful as well - they knock on the door every morning the room!
AArunReally nice stay for reasonable rate and really helpful staff. Thank you so much. It was a good experience. Will recommend my family and friends if they need a stay in Reading.
