the igloo was not bad, the toilet and shower were very inconvenient and smelly ,the breakfast was very simple and basic. The Christmas dinner cost 42 € per person eating just the leftover from breakfast.

The Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.

Nice guesthouse close to the Ranua zoo. They let us use their Kota, which we really enjoyed.

A lovely cosy place to stay, however the location really is in the sticks where transport is limited to around 3 buses to or from the city with the last bus arriving at 7pm. But the room was great and extremely warm in the minus 15 degrees temperature.

The place is nice, but the transportation is very inconvenient, and the room has no bathroom, so you should just treat it as camping.

Place has a common toilet and shower in the hallway Not value for money After requesting that I need a room with toilet and bath they moved me into a very small room Only good thing about the guest house is that the reception was good Morning breakfast is same all 4 days no change has decreased in the items but same food

Great value for the price, very nice staff, great location in quiet place near the lake. Not far from the Ranua Zoo. A small cantin onsite, where you can get lunch or dinner and a glass of beer. The room was small and cosy, would be great to have conditioner but there was a little ventilator.

Bathroom has black mold. Room window was open when we first arrived so the smell sank in only after we closed it, which was luckily only a couple of minutes into our visit. Then we saw the situation, which was terrible. Also bathroom light switch was on the wall next to the shower head, and it would've gotten wet when showering. Obviously, would not sleep in a room with mold -＞ trip to reception. Receptionist immediately was apologetic and acknowleged the mold, saying that it is an issue and repairs are due. We wanted a refund, but they had to call and ask the owner. Owner arrived. In short: we had to pay for the first night, got the rest back in cash (no receipt) and after a long discussion their statement is: not mold but detergent stains/residue which just keeps coming back and back. Owner was extremely rude. Hard pass.
