"The most satisfying hotel during my business trip to Latin America. I have booked Hilton for everything else. Holidayinn is better. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk was polite and friendly. The room is relatively large and the hair dryer needs to be called separately. The price/performance ratio is very good. The location is also okay."

"The hotel's facilities, hygiene and service are all very good, although the facilities are a bit old. What satisfied us most was its restaurant. Breakfast and lunch are buffets, and dinner is a la carte. The service is also very good and not expensive. Because of this restaurant, we stay here when we pass by Quito and are very satisfied."

"Amazing place. I didn't know either Spanish or English but I was covered with so much attention and concern that I didn't feel any problems in communication. The hotel is warm and quiet, homey.
I was set up 2 hours earlier.
In the room every day was done a wet cleaning.
Breakfasts were delicious with natural juice and fresh fruit. In the evening you can eat deliciously at the restaurant.
I would like to come back here and feel the attention and care of these people"

"On the first day of check-in, I was a little disappointed that the front desk staff had a general attitude towards the room facilities. I was going to change the hotel the next day, but it was surprising that the front desk manager and the staff on duty that day reflected the pick-up fee for the hotel arrangement I mentioned earlier and gave a solution, which made me change the idea of changing the hotel. These were impressive."

"Breakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time."

TTanchengyufengThe hotel is new and the restaurant is excellent. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel every half hour. There is a self-service ticket check-in machine in the lobby, which is quite user-friendly. The scenery is pleasant and the feeling is pleasant. There is a Hertz car rental station in the lobby, but the prices are better online. Car pickup and drop-off are at the hotel.

You can’t ask for a better location. Our room was outstanding, spacious with a lovely balcony. Thank you to all the staff had made our stay a memorable one.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

GGuest UserThere was a leak in my bathroom that almost ruined my personal cleaning items. The room they gave me was in front of the stairs and it was always noisy with people talking loud. The bottom of the toilet was disgusting. The person that welcomed me was the only one I cold day was efficient. I left the hotel this morning when I was supposed to leave tomorrow. That is how bad I felt there.

That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

BBJBMDBeautiful hotel 4 KM from the Airport. Wonderful and kind management. Rooftops have great views at sunset. Only complaint was bathroom light was automatically on, and very bright, at 3:00 am, was a surprise. The little cafe up the street and to the right has wholesome food. Both are nicely priced.
