Le Meridien Qingdao is located in Qingdao’s Central Business District, which is about 1 hour drive from the airport. It is very close to the Wanda Plaza, featuring a department store, supermarket and offices. It is only a 10 min walk from Dunhua subway station. Breakfast has a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. Happy hour at the executive lounge is great with a great selection of food.

The hotel is across the road from May 4th Square and very close to the subway. The location is super strategic. There are not many tourists in Qingdao in winter. Very friendly and helpful staff, but a very basic hotel and a little overpriced for what it was. 'Courtyard view' sounded appealing, but the view was just the back of other businesses. Short walk from the Tsingtao Beer Museum and Beer street which was handy. Enjoyed the drip coffee each morning! We also enjoyed a walk through the park which is just behind the hotel.
