"I wanna give some information about the garden villa and ocean villa, garden villa is way better than ocean villa , it has private yard, it’s a little far from the lobby for more privacy and peace, but ocean villa is near the restaurant and it’s not private, the residence of gardens villa should pass by ocean villas to get to their room and it’s not even beach front, it doesn’t have private yard so the guests couldn’t open the curtains and use the view 🫣it should be half price of garden villa but it’s more expensive 😑 the toilet and bathroom doesn’t have door but has view to garden. The stuff are great. 👍🏼 The food is the best in the island but totally is average. Snorkeling with firus was amazing.😝 Everything is perfect, I highly recommend this villa.🫶🏻"

"Hotel best gilaaa!!, service veryyy the tiptop. Service kena dengan hotel 5star veryy friendly ye staff dia. Setiap petang akan dapat free drink and sedap ye smoothie dia. Breakfast palinggg onzz yee mcm mcm pilihan. Bilik overall okayy cuma takde tv. Plus staff akan kemas bilik and topap balik air botol if dh habis. Then, Area hotel banyak kedai makan waktu malam juga so u guys takkan boring. Mknn sedap2 cuma aga priceyyy sikit la. Jadi kene standbyyy wangg yg byk coz of dlm tu tkde atm."

"In general, we've had excellent time in the PIR. The resort is good, located on a beautiful sandy beach with incredible snorkelling opportunities; the territory is nice and spacious. With that being sad, the hotel should be better maintained - some bed linen and towels are so old they have holes in them, there are barely any sunbeds on the beach, etc. Also, the restaurant's food leaves much to be desired. The spa is, however, rather nice, as well as the dive centre."

"Facilities: Although the room is large, the toilet is broken. Although it was repaired in time, there is no suitable place to hang clothes. Hygiene: The room is clean, but the food in the restaurant is not fresh, and there are small insects (but it is the same on the whole island) Environment: Very good, in a corner of Pulau Besar, very quiet and beautiful, you can see the pictures I uploaded. It is very primitive, and you can see wild big lizards, see the pictures and videos I uploaded. Service: The staff is very patient and enthusiastic to provide service I will definitely choose this place next time I go to Pulau Besar, it is great👍"

"We stayed at Mimpi Perhentian Resort Hotel at the end of June for 3 days and 2 nights, and we regretted not booking a longer stay. Our sea view triple room was perfect for our little family of three, including our six-year-old boy. The resort offers the best views on Long Beach, and we loved the chill vibes in the morning and the lively atmosphere in the evening and night. Booking all our island trips through the hotel was super convenient since we could charge everything to our room. We did snorkeling during our island tour, which is an absolute must-do when you’re on the island. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, strong air conditioning, and great water pressure for showers. The saltwater hotel pool was also charming and a great spot to relax. We appreciated having the staff handle our luggage and bags, bringing them from the jetty at Kuala Besut all the way to our room at the hotel itself, which was superb! The boat ride to the island was also great, seeming more luxurious than the ones offered by the other resorts on the island. Each and every single staff throughout the hotel was amazing and friendly; making our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was just okay, but no worries! There are plenty of cafes just a stone’s throw away with affordable, really good food covering almost all cuisines. A beautiful stroll away, these cafes added to the charm of our stay. Mimpi Perhentian truly is a dream come true. We can’t wait to return!"

"The experience at Perhentian Marriott was a rollercoaster. Firstly, the initial service and welcome we received was excellent. The clean private jetty,  clean and comfortable ferry, baggage handling and the buggy service straight up to our room in the hotel was a very warm and pleasant welcome. The hotel staff explicitly told us to buggy everywhere in the hotel.  Next, came the troubles. The room was beautiful (don’t get me wrong) but poorly refreshed for our stay. The usual menu/file was empty with nary any instructions or introduction on how to call for a buggy or the breakfast timings etc. usual stuff you’d find upon reaching the hotel room. The fridge was unclean and bath essentials not topped up. We called for housekeeping not wanting to let it spoil our vacation. After a sumptuous dinner (the hotel dinner buffet is actually really good sans the fact that they don’t tell you that the drinks counter is payable), we returned to dirty linen right outside our door (they removed the towels provided and did not replace we were left without towels) and opened water bottles in the cupboard. That’s not all, the water heater was down and there was no communication from the hospitality staff when the engineering team is fixing the heater or if it has been fixed. (We only found out they restarted the heater after we initiated a follow up with the team). The next day, as I attempted to take a bath I turned on the bath water and out spurted 100% hot water that scalded my knee. I called for burn cream and the hotel reception told us they did not have a first aid kit and instructed us to head to the store to purchase. No follow up on the matter and no acknowledgement of the issue is made from the team. It was a constant issue of us turning on the water (right in the middle, not hot not cold) for the taps and showers to spurt 100% hot water and us avoiding it.  The only redeeming point is that every restaurant, every in person staff we encountered from the buggy services to the pool side staff to the restaurant waitress everyone was lovely and warm.   (P.s. the route to long beach is fret with rubbish and flies)"

"Coral View oli ihana erityisesti sijaintinsa vuoksi. Hotellin edestä avautui suoraan korallipuutarha ja merenalainen maisema. Vietin kolme päivää snorkkeli kasvoilla vedessä. Yhden päivän ajan satoi kaatamalla koko päivän, ja sen päivän vietin sisällä mökissä, koska hotellien ravintoloita lukuunottamatta muuta tekemistä ei ollut. En tiedä, onko koko saarella esimerkiksi hierontaa tms saatavilla sadepäivien varalle. Mökki oli ok, melko vaatimaton, mutta siisti. Jos pidät snorklaamisesta ja kaipaat lomaltasi oikeastaan vain sitä, tämä on sinun paikkasi. Snorklasin myös laiturin toiselle puolelle kilpikonnia katsomaan, mutta en nähnyt yhtään. Hotellin edessä olevissa koralleissa voit kuitenkin nähdä pieniä, suloisia rauskuja. Muista olla koskematta koralleihin!"
