The property is in a great location for exploring the town and the park and funicular. The hotel is spotlessly clean both inside and out. The roof top pool area is great for relaxing with a cooling breeze and fantastic views of Montecatini Terme Alto. What really made this our best ever Italian stay though is the hotel staff were exceptional throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always met with a friendly smile, impeccable service, we honestly cannot remember better customer service from a hotel stay. A special mention for Nadisha whom we primarily worked the rooftop pool bar, this young lady is an absolute credit to the hotel, she is non stop, fluent in so many languages, never stops working and never stops smiling with every guest she meets and takes such wonderful care off.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be a bit disappointing. The property itself has potential but is a bit run down. The food in the restaurant was not good at all (we tried breakfast which was fine, dinner was a huge and expensive disappoin**ent). The spa is okay but nothing fabulous. Not pictured in the idyllic looking Instagram photos from the resort is the fact that you are required to wear blue swimming caps (provided). For those of us in North America this is not a standard practice at a spa, and I found the photos of couples enjoying the spa sans blue caps was quite misleading. The heat in our room didn’t seem to work so we were quite cold. We did find the bed and sheets to be comfortable. This property has potential but needs some work to truly be a 4 star spa hotel experience.

I stayed in Palazzo BelVedere with my daughter for three nights at the beginning of August. The hotel and its premises are great, members of staff are friendly and keen to help and advise. At the reception we were welcomed by Simone and he was really nice and offered us some cold complementary drinks while we were checking in. The room was a generous size with a fabulous view over the mountains. Everything in the room looked new, sleek and modern. I particularly liked the French doors in the bathroom and a double shower which was very handy in the hot weather. It was great to have sound-proofed windows and an air conditioner in the room. Our breakfast was included and it was a nice beginning of the day with a wide range of local produce and fresh drinks. The staff in the restaurant was very approachable and helpful, especially Nicolette. Nothing was a problem for the staff and all our queries and needs were seen to immediately and with a smile by Diane. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

We are staying here now and it far exceeds our expectations! Such charm and such a great staff. Our luggage was lost by the airline and the staff was helpful with supplying items to help us. They answered our many questions and requests. Our room is so charming and the bathroom updated. I gave 5 stars even though the air is not adequate in our lovely room because they supplied a fan that solved the problem. The location is great and we have explored the area on foot and enjoyed the excursions. Our view of the park is great and no traffic noise. I have seen complaints about the breakfast buffet but we found it more than delicious and filling. A great variety of items.. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers..

Mini vacanza di tre notti in questa struttura...che dire tutto perfetto! Dall'organizzazione con la proprietaria, prima della partenza in cui si è premurata di sapere di cosa necessitavamo per la bimba di 2 anni, a tutto quello che abbiamo ricevuto come servizi nella struttura. Michela e la sua famiglia ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa senza farci mancare nulla. Ci hanno assegnato una camera bella spaziosa in modo da poter sistemare il lettino (fornito da loro...lettino in legno a cancelli non un banalissimo e a volte pure sporco lettino da viaggio) per la piccola senza dover sacrificare i nostri spazi. Ci hanno coccolati con piccole accortezze alla colazione (es. farci trovare il prosciutto crudo nel vassoio della colazione avendo notato a cena che ci era piaciuto molto). Ci hanno anche fatto da baby Sitter visto che la monella era più in braccio a loro che a noi 😅 Alla fine abbiamo optato per la soluzione mezza pensione, viste le giornate in giro per le gite, ed il cibo era davvero buono. Ampia scelta nel menù alla carta o nelle proposte della mezza pensione, tutte ottime. Possibilità di preparare panini e schiaccine per le gite avendo anche un minimarket ben fornito sempre nella struttura. Alla sera, dopo cena, c'è anche la possibilità di usufruire di qualche gioco per i piccini nel salone sottostante il ristorante, del calcio balilla e del ping pong. Hanno parcheggio privato e nella bella stagione anche la piscina. Della camera oltre che spaziosa e pulita devo elogiare la comodità del letto. Sono poche le strutture dove dormi veramente bello comodo. Oltre ai cuscini adatti ad i vari gusti hanno anche provveduto ad aggiungere i Topper nel letti e sono davvero una favola. Bagno finestrato pulitissimo e grande con una bella doccia moderna con colonna idromassaggio. Sono presenti anche piccole accortezze come il porta spazzolini ed il dispenser del sapone liquido oltre logicamente ai kit di cortesia per ogni occupante della stanza. Struttura convenzionata con lo zoo di Pistoia, è possibile fare direttamente da loro il biglietto ad un prezzo ridotto e soprattutto ti dà la possibilità di saltare tutta la coda alla biglietteria (che non era per niente poca) Spero di aver detto tutto xchè seppur una mini vacanza ha rigenerato completamente me e la mia famiglia. Spero di poter tornare presto!

Alla sera, dopo cena, c'è anche la possibilità di usufruire di qualche gioco per i piccini nel salone sottostante il ristorante, del calcio balilla e del ping pong. Hanno parcheggio privato e nella bella stagione anche la piscina. Della camera oltre che spaziosa e pulita devo elogiare la comodità del letto. Sono poche le strutture dove dormi veramente bello comodo. Oltre ai cuscini adatti ad i vari gusti hanno anche provveduto ad aggiungere i Topper nel letti e sono davvero una favola. Bagno finestrato pulitissimo e grande con una bella doccia moderna con colonna idromassaggio. Sono presenti anche piccole accortezze come il porta spazzolini ed il dispenser del sapone liquido oltre logicamente ai kit di cortesia per ogni occupante della stanza. Struttura convenzionata con lo zoo di Pistoia, è possibile fare direttamente da loro il biglietto ad un prezzo ridotto e soprattutto ti dà la possibilità di saltare tutta la coda alla biglietteria (che non era per niente poca) Spero di aver detto tutto xchè seppur una mini vacanza ha rigenerato completamente me e la mia famiglia. My mother-in-law was travelling in Italy while North America's Mother's Day. We wanted to surprise her with a Mother's Day gift so I contacted the Montebello Hotel and I asked if they could arrange for a special gift. Not only did they help but they created a magical moment with all kinds of Italian treats and wine. I must admit, the service was unbelievable. Friendly, courteous, helpful. Mini vacanza di tre notti in questa struttura...che dire tutto perfetto! Dall'organizzazione con la proprietaria, prima della partenza in cui si è premurata di sapere di cosa necessitavamo per la bimba di 2 anni, a tutto quello che abbiamo ricevuto come servizi nella struttura. Michela e la sua famiglia ci hanno fatto davvero sentire a casa senza farci mancare nulla. Ci hanno assegnato una camera bella spaziosa in modo da poter sistemare il lettino (fornito da loro...lettino in legno a cancelli non un banalissimo e a volte pure sporco lettino da viaggio) per la piccola senza dover sacrificare i nostri spazi. Ci hanno coccolati con piccole accortezze alla colazione (es. farci trovare il prosciutto crudo nel vassoio della colazione avendo notato a cena che ci era piaciuto molto). Ci hanno anche fatto da baby Sitter visto che la monella era più in braccio a loro che a noi 😅 Alla fine abbiamo optato per la soluzione mezza pensione, viste le giornate in giro per le gite, ed il cibo era davvero buono. Ampia scelta nel menù alla carta o nelle proposte della mezza pensione, tutte ottime. Possibilità di preparare panini e schiaccine per le gite avendo anche un minimarket ben fornito sempre nella struttura. Alla sera, dopo cena, c'è anche la possibilità di usufruire di qualche gioco per i piccini nel salone sottostante il ristorante, del calcio balilla e del ping pong. Hanno parcheggio privato e nella bella stagione anche la piscina. Della camera oltre che spaziosa e pulita devo elogiare la comodità del letto. Sono poche le strutture dove dormi veramente bello comodo. Oltre ai cuscini adatti ad i vari gusti hanno anche provveduto ad aggiungere i Topper nel letti e sono davvero una favola. Bagno finestrato pulitissimo e grande con una bella doccia moderna con colonna idromassaggio. Sono presenti anche piccole accortezze come il porta spazzolini ed il dispenser del sapone liquido oltre logicamente ai kit di cortesia per ogni occupante della stanza. Struttura convenzionata con lo zoo di Pistoia, è possibile fare direttamente da loro il biglietto ad un prezzo ridotto e soprattutto ti dà la possibilità di saltare tutta la coda alla biglietteria (che non era per niente poca) Spero di aver detto tutto xchè seppur una mini vacanza ha rigenerato completamente me e la mia famiglia. Spero di poter tornare presto!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be a bit disappointing. The property itself has potential but is a bit run down. The food in the restaurant was not good at all (we tried breakfast which was fine, dinner was a huge and expensive disappoin**ent). The spa is okay but nothing fabulous. Not pictured in the idyllic looking Instagram photos from the resort is the fact that you are required to wear blue swimming caps (provided). For those of us in North America this is not a standard practice at a spa, and I found the photos of couples enjoying the spa sans blue caps was quite misleading. The heat in our room didn’t seem to work so we were quite cold. We did find the bed and sheets to be comfortable. This property has potential but needs some work to truly be a 4 star spa hotel experience.

We stayed at Hotel Ercolini & Savi as part of a tour group. There were other groups staying for shorter periods during our week there, but was never crowded. The front desk staff were always friendly and willing to help. The dining room staff were always cheerful no matter the time of day. Rooms were clean and updated. Magical place with lovely atmosphere, and wonderful hosts! The room was exactly as you could wish for, with a nice terrasse so the sunrise could be enjoyed! The personal and wonderful service from the host made the stay absolutely magical. The breakfast was also absolutely top class with all kind of delicious options! This hotel was perfectly located for exploring Lucca and Florence from the railway station at Montecatini Centro. Also, a few minutes walk from the funicular up to Alto, which has beautiful views. The breakfasts were average, but I had to thank the chef on his seafood risotto that I had one evening as it was best I have ever had! Rooms are clean with a terrific housekeeping team who were always friendly, chatting outside our room every morning. A lovely touch was having our bathrobes and slippers delivered to our room ahead of our spa trea**ents. The spa was good, with the usual facilities you’d expect. I had the scrub and massage, which was amazing. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay if I return to Montecatini Terme.
