avoid at all costs! the staff are utterly rude and disrespectful and provide little to no help at all, the cleaners are completely useless and do not clean properly, a virus happened to come and due to the lack of cleaning very many people got ill causing us all to miss skiing which we paid for, the only part of the trip which was good was the doorstep skiing, the waiters where unhelpful and infact picked food up of the tables and put it back in the sharing platter, avoid at all costs!

amazing door for door skiing, the food was okay, a virus came around called the nora virus and basically killed all of my friends, the cleaners dont do or take their jobs seriously as i got told to go fck myself by one after they refused me to use the toilet they told my friend who is alergic to nuts that the food had no nuts in what caused him to have an allergic reaction to deal with this the hotel staff brushed it off by laughing

We enjoyed a wonderful week here. Fantastic food. Different selection of antipasti, pasta, meats and desserts every night. Everyone in my family found something they loved every day. Very helpful and kind staff. The themed nights were fun but not too intrusive. Join in if we wanted to. Valentines night was particularly memorable! Cupid and the beef tagliata were fabulous. Only a short (150m) walk or ski to the slopes. Rooms very comfortable with all that we needed. We’ll be back!

On arrival, our car got stuck in the snow. we asked reception if they knew anyone who could assist - they could hardly speak English, were very abrupt and were not interested whatsoever in helping. The hotel itself was very bland, the bar area had absolutely no atmosphere and was very sterile. The food extremely basic and if you arrived within half an hour of breakfast 'closing' there was hardly any food left.

Enjoyed a 2023 Christmas week skiing in Passo Tonale with the family staying at the Hotel Piandineve. I had stayed at the Grand Hotel Paradiso across the road before, so I had something to compare it with. The Piandineve is located set back across the main road from the lifts, so a brief 5 minute trek in your ski boots to get to the slopes and another 5 minute walk to get to the ski lesson meeting point. Overall the Hotel is fine and spotlessly clean, certainly the rooms were excellent in terms of cleanliness. I left a good tip for the cleaning staff in my room. Other staff were polite, albeit a bit distracted by speaking with each other rather than serving guests at times it felt like. The restaurant was large, a little packed as you might expect for the Christmas and New Year skiers. You get an allocated table for the week, although the maitre d' seemed to move us randomly on a couple of days for some reason. Plenty of choice of food and breakfast had a wide choice from the buffet but I wasn't keen on the limited hot choices. At dinner there was a salad bar, cooked pasta and cooked meat and veg. The desserts looked very nice. Overall the food was okay and you could fill up but we also preferred a big lunch at the resort restaurants because the food looked and tasted much better in my opinion. One point to note is that while water is placed on your table, it's not free and you have to sign a tab for it. Not quite the description when booking through Crystal Ski so beware! The American Bar was fine and entertainment put on, mostly for the kids. We did have a game of Tombola (Bingo). My only issue with this hotel is the thinness of the walls and I needed ear plugs to dull the noise I could hear from other rooms above, below and next to the room I had. TV sound, crying children, snoring neighbour and shouting adults when you're trying to sleep was quite annoying. Overall I got what I paid for and give it a 3 star rating from me. Having stayed at the Grand Hotel Paradiso before, I preferred that hotel, its location, food etc for what would have been a small extra cost.

The hotel is very well located, within 3-4 min walking from the closest ski lift but far from the noisy road, with outstanding views over the mountains. We felt welcomed by Felippo and his team at the restaurant, by all the bartenders, by the kids club staff and by Pepe, which is a golden guide around the resort. We absolutely disliked the food (the breakfast is plain dull while the dinner… at 35€ / person you can have proper dinner outside, while enjoying delicious food as the dinner provided by the hotel is a joke. We also disliked the poor communication with the reception staff; their English is poor and important information such as underground parking (available at 10€ / day) was not mentioned (and it would have been very valuable specially when you have a snow storm…. ). We also wanted to speak to the manager which seemed a job for Tom Cruise’s mission impossible as after 5 days of continuously asking to do so, we gave up. The rooms have thin walls (you can hear your neighbour) and the air in them is very dry however, the cleaning of the room was immaculate. Overall, we felt ok but not as we should have felt for the money we spent (we stayed a total of 13 nights and we have been joined by family during Christmas for 3 nights as well). Is this hotel good value for money?! In our opinion NO.

Absolutely horrible!! This is not a 4* hotel. For the first time during our trip we felt unwelcomed in a hotel. Everything about it and its staff was awkward. The guy at the reception didn’t explain anything to us. We were woken up by some Italian guy screaming and shouting at 6:30 am. During breakfast we couldn’t find our table, it turned out we weren’t even on the list. The organisation was poor to say the least. Since we were the only foreigners in the hotel they made us feel out of place. I should have read the reviews of other people before booking this joke of a hotel.

The view and short journey to the resort made this hotel seem great however there are some faults. The meals weren't particularly varied with three different pastas every lunch and tea and one other meal that changes and some salad. Be prepared that the bathrooms are made of frosted glass and the shower only has one ling around the glass that is frosted and the rest is visible to the whole room. However the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy.
