Stayed here for two nights to attend my brother’s graduation ceremony. Very conveniently located right across from the mall and Kennedy Plaza, was very easy to get around the town. The hotel has a rich history and the renovation is done really well, would highly recommend for people to stay for an eventful occasion. Staff were nice but too slow and short staffed. Had to wait long for check-in and check-outs, so plan ahead. Would definitely stay here again if we visit providence in the future.

We had not been informed by either the hotel (or by trip.com) that the during our stay the hotel will have neither heat nor air-conditioner. The weather was hot and humid. The windows could be open for only three inches (we were told this was because of safety issues). The manager was apologetic and helpful but the front desk receptionists were not. Otherwise, the room was incredibly small and could use some updating.

The location is good, but the service is not up to par with a four-star hotel. There is no drinking water in the room. You have to go down to get it yourself at the front desk. The facilities are relatively old. The shower head is difficult to control.

Stayed in the hotel for more than a week. The hotel lobby is very retro and beautiful. There is an antique elevator that is no longer in service. In the morning, there are coffee croissants on the first floor for sale. The taste is OK. The location is good. There are parks and malls around. It is not far from the Providence River. You can walk there. But the overall experience of the stay is not good. One day, the whole hotel had no hot water, and the room was not cleaned for two days.

I originally booked 2 double beds, but only 1 queen bed was available. Ctrip later paid the difference. The room was quite big and the bedding was very good.
