I’m so glad we found this place — our one-night stay was a terrific experience in every way. Daniel and Bouchra are excellent, welcoming hosts and our accommodations, while tight (it is on a boat after all), were perfectly comfortable. Bouchra provided a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning where we enjoyed getting to know our fellow guests. The surrounding scenery is nothing short of spectacular, and while the nearby neighborhood doesn’t seem to offer much at first glance, we had two terrific dinners within a few blocks of the pier: one at Little Bavaria and one at Bouchra’s own Brie & Barrel. Highly recommended.

Was severally overcharged for two night was told $188 per couple per night got our bill $696.44 - NO FOOD - only drinks one night - was told on phone when booking that we could join for dinner party that night - they served the other guests we had to leave the boat to go to a restaurant for food - do not return emails or messages

Do not book here. Hwy to Port Alberni is closed on a regular basis. The day we were supposed to go there the hwy was closed all day due to debris needing to be removed from the road. Understandable. I call the owners and told them we wouldn't be able to make it due to the hwy closure and that we would be there the next morning to stay at least one of the 2 days we had booked. Go to leave the next morning only to find out the hwy was closed again for most of the day. Called the owner again and they knew about it. I asked them why the didn't say anything to me when I had called the day before and his response was....I thought you knew about it....everyone knows about it. I tell him I am from.another province so how would I know about it? I asked for a refund or partial refund as we had driven 1400km but they said no...there was nothing they could do for us. Obviously only care about the money and not the customer. Shady people.

So disappointing!!! I would suggest not booking here due to management. Because the fires and ROAD CLOSURE, myself and guests were unable to stay. emailed in advance they said they would not refund but would rebook (which was upsetting as I had guests traveling from Ontario) I asked when I could rebook TWICE and now they won't answer emails or return my calls. Shady shady shady
