Pros: Great apartment Very clean Room cleaned five days a week. Toaster, coffee maker. kettle, two induction hobs, fridge/freezer Very comfortable bed Large wardrobe Safe Balcony Cons: Reception closed most of the time. Frequent prolems with the gate key so that we couldn't get in when returning from a night out at 0200 hours as an example. Problems with apartment key so that we couldn't enter our room easily. Keys to both the gate and room were changed but still a problem. Other people experienced the same. Swimming pool- murky, cloudy water. Could not see the bottom of the pool. Ph levels may need adjusting or chlorine levels to avoid build-up of algae and potential skin rashes for swimmers.

We stayed on the top floor at the end nearest to a very busy and noisy road junction, which meant you had to keep the doors and windows closed at night, but without air con it was unbearable as it was very hot when we stayed ! The hotel does not rent any fans, so we were given no choice but to purchase our own ! The bedroom is of a good size with plenty of storage and comfy large beds. In the bathroom the shower was ok but, you had to be quick before the hot water run out, it had a small window which was broken and screwed shut so you could not open it, and there was no extractor fan ! The kitchen had all the usual things you need for self catering including a large fridge/freezer. The balcony was a decent size and furnished. The whole building is in need of a refurbish and upgrade, but this is reflected in the price. As for entry gate, which closed at night, yes the lock is still faulty and desperately needs replacing.

There was a major leak from the boiler in the middle of the night in my room. There was no one at reception at night. I called them up but by the time they arrived, the apartment was flooded completely with my person items damaged and the electricity was off. It took the staff over 20 minutes to figure out how to cut off water supply. They then said that they have no other rooms and they can't help me. They haven't cleaned the water ( ankle deep throughout the whole apartment) and have not given me anything to clean it and soak up the water. It was by then 1:30 pm and they said they couldn't do anything to help me. They said someone would come at 8 am to clean the room and fix the leak so I can use water and have electricity back. They left me with the mess and water everywhere and no light. Massive Health and safety hazard. In the morning no one turned up and I had to go looking for them. At 10:30 I found a technician who resolved the issue by early lunch time. I understand that things happen but I am massively disappointed with how EO hotels handled it. I emailed them on various emails several times and they haven't acknowledged nor responded to me. I called the reception and they confirmed that my email was received and forwarded to HO but two weeks in and no response.

I don’t understand the negative reviews about these Apartments. The staff were an utter delight, warm, friendly and couldn’t do enough. My experience here with two apartments was very different than the advertisement, photos and commentaries on several travel websites. I was given two apartments in disrepair. The main entrance door lock to the first apartment was broken. The door could not be locked from inside the apartment. It looked like a plastic key card was required to enter the apartment, however a key is required. The key cylinder in the main door outside of the apartment, (side facing the corridor) was surrounded by a gaping hole. There were additional holes in door filled with paper. The second apartment had a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen. The bedroom door next to the look was scratched near the lock. Lock to the patio door in disrepair. Wall which separates patios was falling apart. Unlike the advertisement pictures, there wasn't an espresso machine, water cooker or toaster in either apartments. There were an ashtray already inside each apartment after arrival. There was a water stain (mold?) in the corner of the ceiling in the shower and the putty in and around the shower was filthy, with spots. Water continued to flow without stopping into the toilet after flushing. Cracks and dirt in putty around, outside the shower area. None of these were minor repairs, however the apartments were rented. The lock on the main entrance gate to open from the street to gain entrance into the apartment building enclosed areal was broken. The locks cylinder didn't turn. Several people were locked out on the street early in the morning. No one's key could open the gate. There was an emergency hotline number on a note next to the gate door at the street side to call as there is no 24 hour receptionist inside this apartment building. The good things about the apartments are: there was running water and electricity. The good thing I've learned from this experience was to take negative comments more seriously and read those comments on all of a companies properties. Regrettably, I didn't do that before booking this location.

Excellent apartment hotel for people visiting the Maspalomas area. Room, although basic provides everything a traveller needs, including a clean environment, large bed and balcony area, although described as self catering the most that you could really achieve is some coffee and breakfast pastries on a plate. A three course meal would not be possible. Nice Paul, although becomes shaded one side as the day goes on. Hotel predominantly occupied during our stay by people utilising the *** pride facilities at Yumbo centre.

We arrived at the apartments and had to wait 45mins for someone to come and check us in, as reception is unmanned a lot of the time. First impression was that it looked ok however the reception are looked very basic and old. There is only 1 small lift (4 people is a squeeze) but there are stairs if you wish. The room was very basic and tried. Considering it was supposed to have been renovated recently I was surprised by the condition of the rooms. All the skirting was filthy, huge cracks down the side of the wardrobe. chucks missing out of the bedroom door, loose wood on the balcony, lights not working, missing light covers in the bathroom, very basic kitchen supplies and not much of it, 2 tea spoons, 3 forks, 3 spoons, 2 knives and a very small sharp knife. The cooker kept tripping the electric and we informed reception to which they said just keep resetting it and they would get someone to come and look at it - it was still doing it the next day so we were unable to cook the whole week meaning we spent more eating out than we had planned for. Cleaning was done every couple of days but very basic and the floors were always dirty - it must have had a quick basic sweep and the bed made. There was often sand in the shower from us that was there the next day so washed it away ourselves so we knew it had not been cleaned. Towels were not change very often and we had to ask some days to have them changed which they did arrange for us. The shower was awful, after barely 5mins the water went cold and you had to wait 10mins for it to heat back up. The shower cubical obviously used to have a door which must have broke at some point and they have replaced it with a shower curtain which was really stained and grubby. The shower head was about 30 years old and dirty, it has not seen some bleach and a cloth in years. There was a screw stuck in the old shower screen surround which was sticking out and you could have easily cut you foot on if you had not noticed it. There was only 1 light working in the bathroom which was missing it’s cover. The towel rail under the sink was broken, you could see where it used to be. The bed was comfy but we had to ask for extra pillows because the 3 that were on the bed were very thin, they did find another which was perfect however, reception did mention they were not sure if they had any spare so you might not get as lucky as we did. The headboard of the bed was loose and when removing the plug the whole thing swings out from the wall. The bedding was clean apart from one of the pillow cases which looked like it had a cigarette burn in it and mould stain on one side - it was clean just looked nasty. The TV was on the wall on an angle and you couldn’t straighten it up, and the plastic surround had a big crack in it. All the sink seal was mouldy and bits missing - again it was clean but just looks nasty. The kettle was quite old but did it’s job. The pool looked grubby and had a oily sheen on the top - most likely from peoples

Despite notifying our arrival time and receiving an ok confirmation, we arrived to find the outer gate locked. We then spent the next hour, yes an hour, phoning the reception number posted outside. We were repeatedly being fobbed off with ..we will be with you in 20 minutes/ 10 minutes and so on. We got inside only because other clients were coming out so we slipped in when the gate opened . We spoke to several about our issue and we were told this is a regular occurrence. Finally, after an exasperating wait, a receptionist turned up and let us in but without an apology! We had already made another booking for 2 weeks Jan-Feb so we wanted to be sure that a guaranteed efficient check in can be guaranteed. We referred to our experience. However, all we received was a formal notification of reception opening times and no further comment. We tried to get s better response but we failed! So...with such an appalling lack of customer service we have now cancelled our booking. The thought of returning to the same potential hassles wasn't very appealing. Added to which, we noticed how run down the building had become and how rarely there was no reception open nor security yet the outer gate was often locked open for all and sundry to potentially drift in. Overall, this didn't feel good yet we had stayed a number of times previously with no problem. We had stayed here before the complex was taken over by EO HOTELES. It seems that the place has very gradually deteriorated since then but now it has gone too far, with very poor management control...and that's putting it politely! We not only have cancelled our forthcoming booking but do not recommend on the basis of our recent experiences.
