Hotels near Salón del Reino de los Testigos de Jehová in Playa del Carmen

I made a reservation for my family while they were visiting Mexico and on the email it stated that they would have until 3 am to check in. They were at a wedding in another town and could not check in until later because of the distance. Since it was already midnight and they knew they were an hour away they called the hotel numerous times because Wyndham states that you can make special arrangements with the hotel directly if you plan to check in late. No one ever answered! No big deal they will be there before 3am. They ended up getting a flat tire and it took forever to get help to fix it. Again, visiting from another Country. No one ever answered the front desk again. I called Wyndham directly and they tried calling…no one answered. My family gets there at 3:10am and are turned away and refused! Again, reservations already made for 2 rooms. They have been through a lot and stuck. The reservation department said they could not help me but to call in the morning and speak to Wyndham customer service directly. Ok, but what about my family? Luckily they found a nearby random hotel and just checked in. They have an elderly lady with them with health issues and had to deal with someone that first off never even answered at the front desk at all from 12am-3am. Not even when Wyndham reservations called. I’m sure this place is nice but I’m just annoyed because I’ve been to enough hotels all over the place to know that accommodations can be made. I’m just going to stick to Hiltons.

Awesome rooms, friendly and supportive members of staff, simple but decent breakfast, close to the beach and to the main road, with plenty of bars, clubs and entertainment, malls and you name it, pool was with a stunning view over the sea, gym was also state of the art.

This is a very nice small hotel with extraordinary service. We stay here every time we are in Playa del Carmen. You feel so comfortable in this place, that you really feel like home. This was our fifth time and we stayed for 8 days. The hotel is excellently located 5 minutes walk from the beach and two blocks from la Quinta Avenida, that is the heart of Playa del Carmen, full of restaurants, bars and cafes, but despite this, the hotel is very quiet and the environment is very relaxed. And this place is cheap when you consider the prices in Playa del Carmen. We strongly recommend it!

This is the best value in Playa Del Carmen. The best bang for the buck especially if you’re booking on this app. Good food. Steak restaurant is great too. Everything is clean and modern although not the newest hotel. This is our go to hotel. Only complaint is they stopped including the premium tequila (Don Julio) in the all inclusive

The hotel is close to the seaside, online booking is much cheaper, there are about 10 free parking spaces, the health is good, the rooms are relatively large, the decoration is a bit old, the bathroom is not very good, there is a swimming pool, other facilities are not seen There are supermarkets and restaurants in the surrounding area. It is very convenient to eat and buy things. There are many bars and souvenir shops on the beach.

I give it 5 stars because it fulfilled all of our needs and the front desk woman was so helpful every day on the trip (everyone knows that the staff can make/break a vacation or a hotel experience). We enjoyed the food at the hotel and we really made the most of the area its in, we went on a walk to the beach after lunch every day to digest our food and relax, I love this hotel, its truly hospitable.

My friend gave me the famous Xcaret Water Park. The hotel prices on Christmas are ridiculously expensive, especially the hotels under Xcaret. So this time, apart from staying in this Xcaret Mexico (hereinafter referred to as X), the other one is not very popular with Chinese tourists. Many Iberostar Quetzal (hereinafter referred to as Q). The price of Hotel Q is less than half of that of Hotel X (of course, Hotel X includes tickets to the amusement park, whether it is worth it or not). I recommend Q more than X, which is more popular with Chinese people, has better hardware facilities, and better scenery. environment: Hotel X is a five-star hotel that Chinese people are familiar with. In contrast, the waiters at Hotel X are all business-like, and they have to wait for a table when there are not many people at the buffet. It looks like a big place, but there are few tricks to eat and drink. I also made an appointment for a Xin Gao Japanese meal. Don't expect too much. My daughter ordered an appetizer of rice, and what was served was a bowl of white rice! We have been travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks and Hotel Encantada was the worst experience at all. The room was very noisy, the bus station is just across the street and the whole time we were listening to a machine announcing bus arrivals and departures. There was no balcony. The reception staff was absolutely useless, they were not able to help us, tourists, to arrange anything. Not even to advise where we can buy a bottle of water in the middle of night when we arrived. And the oxxo shop was just around the corner! On top of this all, after checking out in a hurry, I realized I forgot a shirt in our room and my friend forget her cosmetics. I immediately asked the receptionist to check and give it back to us. They asked the cleaning lady, she claimed to know nothing and find nothing. I believe I was pretty insistent and still, they did not return our stuff. So the cleaning lady or the reception staff either stole our things or threw ithem away and did not confess to either. I would NOT recommend to anyone to stay in this useless stealing place.

Absolutely awesome place to recharge, relax, swim, enjoy great views etc. World class service. We had been traveling for two full days before arriving and we’re greeted by one of the most helpful front desk ppl I’ve ever encountered (Stefan). He got us registered, and ready to go in record time. Our stay was perfect.
