We visited this guest house for two nights . I found the price very reasonable and the location ideal. The room was exceptionally clean and the hosts so friendly. The breakfast was delicious and they provided really good vegetarian alternatives on the cooked breakfasts which rarely happens! Also the view will not dissappoint.

The rooms are large and airy with beautiful views over the river and countryside, the beds were extremely comfortable, and it was clean and nicely decorated. There is a lovely lounge and dining area with games for kids and an honesty alcohol fridge. There is a lot to do in the area. James and Lisa are wonderful hosts.

Set in a beautiful position about five miles from Pitlochry. . We cycled into Pitlochry or if you like a good walk there is a lovely route taking the back route. The location was perfect for us . If you have had a long day out walking or cycling there is a lovely place to eat just minutes walk down the road . Everything was just perfect . The room was huge and consisted of two singles and a double bed . Very nicely furnished giving the warm homely feeling making you feel you are home from home . and not in just another hotel room . . Off to the side is the bathroom . We had to be up early because we were doing the Caledonian Etape. James the owner had laid on a continental breakfast for us and even got up early himself which we hadn't expected . Sadly our stay was only short . I would definitely book again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family . Breakfast served In a room overlooking the river and hills and the.menu quite substantial ranging from full Scottish to toast porridge . Eggs if you don't want the full breakfast . James as a host is very warm and welcoming . his local knowledge quite extensive . He has also cycled the Caledonian Etape 10 times .Making it the perfect place to stay.

It was interesting reviewing the photos of the properties on this site and seeing the progression of learning and improving this property to the well run and hosted property that it is today. We had a warm welcome from owner, James, who was an excellent host throughout. We stayed in the Green Room, which was spacious and clean. Everything was in good condition and felt cosy with a decent carpet. This room had an excellent view and was well thought out with two thicknesses of pillow and an extra blanket in the wardrobe should it be needed. The full Scottish breakfast was really rather good and the breakfast room also had a good view over the river to the hills beyond. There were birdfeeders in the garden and the communal living room was comfortable with games and an honesty bar. There were nice generous parking bays right next to the entrance each with a flower box, which is a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. The only criticism I can think of has nothing to do with the property; For food in the evening within walking distance there is only the Logierait Inn, which at the moment is only a very nice cafe with limited main meal selection, having only just reopened. This is not an issue if you have a car.

We had a great stay the room was so big and comfortable with fabulous views. great information for the surrounding area from Rachel & Gordon. After a lovely meal a couple miles down the road we returned to the very comfortable guest area where we had a bottle of wine from the honesty bar[fab idea] and played cards. Breakfast was exceptional and the views were amazing. We will defiantly be back very soon.
