The most expensive hotel in Sri Lanka, I was full of expectations, but was quite disappointed. First of all, there is a one-way road on the way up the mountain, and it is dangerous to reverse when there is a car passing by. The hotel has only six rooms, including breakfast and dinner, but the variety is too small, and it is a bit not full. Moreover, the dinner and breakfast are served very slowly. We were the only Chinese family that day, and we couldn't find anyone when we checked in, so we waited for a long time. The environment is very good, but it is too troublesome to go up and down the mountain, the service is average, and the hotel atmosphere is not very good. I don't recommend staying here.

The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high.

There are many management problems in this hotel: (1) Discrimination against Chinese guests. We paid the full amount in August to book a room for New Year's Day. No refunds were allowed, and changes were not supported. However, two days before check-in, they suddenly told us that there was no room available, and we were kicked out. Arrange to go to the King Pavilion half an hour away; (2) Have no sense of time, require eating at 11:30, ordering food in the morning, and eating at 12 o'clock;

The hotel’s beautiful surroundings and serene atmosphere were a breath of fresh air – it’s tucked away in the lush hills, providing a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The staff (Butlers : sheriff, hastha, manjula, keerthi ) were incredibly helpful and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. It was a memorable experience filled with gorgeous views and the chance for my toddler to explore nature safely. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated, and my little one had a blast! I’ll definitely be returning to W15 Hanthana Hotel in the future and will recommend it to others.

It was our second stay at W15 Hantana and it’s definitely my favorite place in all Sri Lanka. Everything it’s just wonderful, view is stunning, beautiful design, delicious food and warm hospitality! Thank you so much for everything! Absolutely recommend it!

We had an incredible stay at the W15 in Hanthana, and Sheriff and his team were incredibly accommodating and supportive to our every need and desire. From the views of the venue, the cleanliness of the rooms and the food - every element was perfection. The care and kindness shown by the team here was otherworldly, and bittersweet in that now no other service and accommodation will ever live up to the standard they have set. I will definitely be looking to come back in the future.
