Really nice place, but as for most hotels, you cannot expect the staff to speak English (not a problem for me, but if you don't speak any Chinese be prepared). Location is great as it is around 2 minutes walk from 南大街/South Street and all the main museums and courtyards. The owners were very friendly and helpful, making time to explain all the places to see and were to eat. They can even help with good discounts, e.g. for the historical-themed performance '又见平遥'/Encore Pingyao as well as for restaurants. The hotel is in a beautiful traditional courtyard, very quiet area so you will sleep well at night. The room has traditional furniture, adding to the atmosphere, and while small (but good value for the price) was comfortable. The bed is a so-called 'kang' with heating - it was so comfortable in the cold winter that it was hard to get out of bed in the morning! Part of the floor has heating too. The cleanliness is good too. I would really recommend this place, very good atmosphere and with everything you need to be comfortable.

The hotel was located in a traditional house in the centre of the ancient city of Pingyao, where we arrived by taxi to the wall and came to see the hotel owner by bike and loaded some of the baggage we had. This time I took my parents on a free trip from Guangdong. At first, I was dazzled by the many B&Bs on Ctrip. Our family stayed in a hotel. It's more troublesome, and the room environment must be very clean and tidy to be satisfied. Because three people need to live in one room, there are not many family-friendly B&Bs selected. The one that comes into view is Hangan Pavilion, which is a residential house with traditional architecture on the outside. The inside of the room is designed in a new Chinese style, so there is no hesitation. Ordered to stay for 3 consecutive nights. We were not disappointed when we arrived at the store. The beds and floors were very clean and refreshing, the toilet was very clean and smart, and there was a big projection screen TV. What my father appreciated the most was that the traditional house unlocking method was retained at the door of the room, allowing him to Reminiscing about my childhood. The store is very close to the central pedestrian street of Pingyao Ancient Town, and it only takes about 5 minutes to travel. The owner of the B&B and his family are very hospitable and have a good attitude. They helped us contact a car to take us to the train station when we were leaving the hotel. This is our second stay at this hotel. The reason is that we had a very nice time for our first visit 4 years ago. This time it was as nice as before or even much nicer! Not recommended for people living in the north. Corner Time is more delicious than Yang Xiansen. We think the Jinzhen Restaurant recommended by the girl at the B&B is the best! Environment: Bo Lian, in Chenghuang Temple Street, a quiet little courtyard, convenient to go anywhere. Facilities: The honeymoon room is long and thin, the mattress is soft, and the bedding is relatively clean. It is hotter than the floor heating in Boshe, and the temperature in the room is very suitable. However, the bathroom is not as warm as Boshe's original intention, and there is no odor. There is enough hot water, and there are disposable toilet mats and face towels. The floor near the bed was not clean and there was dust and flying hairs.
