Family-friendly Hotels in Pingtung

If you rate it based on ”suitable for bringing children”, the hotel is quite good. After all, children can have fun playing with water. If you want to dig sand, you can also dig sand at the beach where you can play volleyball. After all, the hotel is over 25 years old, so the rooms may be somewhat damp, which is acceptable. What can be improved is -The hair dryer should be replaced, the switch will be stuck~ -TV remote control power supply is difficult to press to turn on the TV But overall I still think it is a great hotel All you can eat breakfast and you can watch the sea The waiters are very friendly~ The children are really happy playing in the water. The environment for playing in the water is great.

Stayed here because we were participating in the Ironman 70.3 Kenting. Perfect for the race as the start, transition and finish are all within the hotel. We got a room on the first floor which proved to be the most ideal as it is on the same level as breakfast, the race expo as well as the finish area. However if you prefer a quiet room, then ask for a different floor. Rooms are very large and amenities are generously provided. Despite the size of the property, staff are efficient and very helpful.

Great location in Kenting. Good amenities for families. Good room size and top quality of cleanliness. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will visit again next summer.

We have stayed 2 nights in Chateau. Though the hotel is not new, but everything is well maintained. We spent a great time there. Every staff there is friendly and helpful. We participated some extra activities (Paper cutting, Archery, and golfing. ),Everything is fun when you get together with family/friends. Especially, we invited an Amercian friend with us, she had very good impression about hotel too. Will recommend other travelers if Chateau offer some meal plans, it's really valuable. (Will suggest Chateau :The buffet - breakfast, dinner can be improved if possible).

We stayed at Amanda for 2 nights with one of our friend couple. First night, we stayed at the ”Rose City 2 Bedroom Suite” which was exactly like its description - 2 bedroom and one bathroom with two doors which was great. We really enjoyed the first night. The location is great - very close to the night market and all our outdoor activities. Second night, we reserved the ”Ancient Jade Villa” with a private swimming pool. We have traveled enough to know that sometimes pictures posted are outdated so we called the hotel in advance to make sure that it met our needs BEFORE booking. We needed two bedrooms and wanted to book the villa with the private giant swimming pool as it was portrayed on trip.com. We were told that it has two bedrooms - which unfortunately was not true. The swimming pool was not like the one posted on trip.com (they have updated the pictures now) When we told the staff that this was not the room we booked, they said that it was ”renovated” and that the pool was exactly like the picture. The picture of the pool was an almost full size pool that was rectangle and the room we received was a triangular jacuzzi sized pool in the corner (?????) *** I think the most unfortunate part of this incident was that the staffs were treating us as if we are stupid and kept insisting that the room we received was exactly the room on the picture.. (The two pool pictures are below) Thankfully, I'm guessing it is the manager but he handled the situation quite professionally and was able to accomodate us into two separate hotel rooms quite quickly. A frustrating situation was resolved very quickly with care and we really appreciated it. One other thing I'd like to mention is the breakfast restaurant staff's behaviours. - Some of the food were out so we asked if it would be refilled, one of the waitress replied to us that it will be. After 20 minutes of waiting later, we asked another waiter and he said it will NOT be refilled. But about 3 minutes later, it was refilled??? - We asked for some ice, and the waitress said ”Actually, you cannot actually ask for ice” ????? Some other minor issues were: - unstable electricity in the rooms (the electricity plugs kept turning off for some reason) - the lighting in the rooms were way too dark considering that the rooms didn't get too much natural light (to the point where putting on makeup was almost impossible) - the air condition system was unstable (it was either too cold or too hot) - the door handles were either broken or the screws were coming off and there were too many light switches that did not work or were confusing(?)

Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was above average. The infinity pool is what most people are after and it's not bad. Service is poor since they told us that there's a maintenance window from 11 to 1-ish for the outdoor pool, but they did not tell us that the changing room would also close.

We had a great stay here. We were right across from the beach( no swimming beach but was great for kids to play in the sand). Staff were friendly. We were just a minute’s walk from the night market, great for the kids to go play some games and get food easily. Breakfast shop was also just up the street from the hotel. Parking is also offered by the hotel which is located behind the hotel. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying here again.

The first choice for accommodation in Hengchun. The hotel is in an excellent location. In addition to the swimming pool on the first floor, there is also an underground parking lot. There are also ubikes nearby that you can borrow to visit Hengchun Ancient Town. If you want to travel in depth to Hengchun, you must make good use of shared bicycles. If you check out the car You can park at Shipai Park. Ximen Duck Rice and Guy’s Duck Rice are both nearby, delicious and cheap.

When parking at the hotel, you should first drop off your luggage at the main entrance, and then drive to the back door to park. Otherwise, the road from the parking lot back to the hotel is very unfriendly for pulling luggage. You must listen to advice. The hotel is right on Kenting Street, which is very convenient. The scale is still there, at least there are rooms for the next time, which is quite large in Kenting. Because it is the off-season, the hotel elevator did not open rooms, nor did it open high floors to allocate rooms on the first floor. The balcony was blocked and it felt a bit dim. A cockroach suddenly appeared on the ground at night🪳 and was crushed by my foot. Breakfast is 3 choices. There are also porridge, side dishes and simple fruits and vegetables on site. If you want to buy breakfast, consider it yourself. Next time I have a chance, I may stay at Fu Lai next door. It looks more glamorous, and it is under Fu Rong. I don’t know if the management will be better.

Disadvantages on the first day of check-in! If the quilt cover is stained with something like granulation or tartar, please ask the housekeeper to change it immediately! She was also dumbfounded and said she was sorry! There are hairs on the floor and the cleaning is poor! Coming! The ceiling fan is very loud. I wonder if it was originally like this or is it old! The hair dryer is very small and worse than the one I have at home! In short, I personally feel that the price of almost 9,000 yuan a night is not worth it! Advantages Beautiful scenery
