And the most awesome thing is the balcony overlooking the sea! We were on the 3rd floor, the view was amazing! :) The rooms are cleaned every day and towels are changed. We were pleased with the beach bags with a beach mat and beach towels. There are also umbrellas that can be used against both rain and sun. One day our boiler in the bathroom leaked, the next day everything was fixed. Breakfast: not very large, some are presented as a buffet: tea, coffee, pastries, fruit, juice, yoghurt, milk, cereal. You order the second part from the list of your choice: rice soup (not dairy), eggs (choice: fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omelet, soft-boiled, poached), toast fried in an egg mixture, some strange tartlets with chicken, roll with tuna (delicious, by the way). Breakfast from 7:00 to 10:30. The kitchen is still open for lunch, but it is paid and still 3 times more expensive than even if you walk 3 minutes to the nearest cafe. The hotel also has swimming pools: shallow for children and deeper for adults, sun loungers, umbrellas. You can borrow a boat and a bicycle for free. But the shuttle, which is mentioned in older reviews, is no longer available. It’s cheaper to order a taxi through the Indrive app, but you need a local SIM card, and sometimes it takes a very long time to find a car. Through the Grab app you don’t need a local number, a taxi will be 2 times more expensive, but when Indrive doesn’t go, at least that’s it. You can also order food through Grab. But delivery takes 1-2 hours and you need to order before 7 pm. Sea: specific. Download the app with ebbs and flows (the simplest one) and you will be happy :) at low tide, 100 meters from the shore there are solid stones and corals. Only if you somehow cross them, you can swim in the depths. But it’s easier to go to the nearby beach. 12 minutes by road or 13 minutes along the beach + 4 minutes in the village. Our youngest child is six months old, we had a stroller and walked everywhere normally. And at high tide it’s great to swim near the hotel, and there’s shade from the trees to hide from the sun. Shops: There are two shops in the village: 7/11 and Tops daily. To 7/11 on the road at a brisk pace of 8 minutes, along the beach 13 minutes. Tops - a little bigger than 7/11, walk another 4 minutes along the road. Food: we ate Thai food either on the beach (if you walk along the beach towards the cape from the hotel), or if you walk along the road, then in 3 minutes on the left there will be a cafe on the second floor, or in the village approximately opposite the Tops store. All these places are good overall. Massage: I liked it the most to the right of 7/11, if you stand facing it. But across the street from 7/11 there is some kind of trendy massage parlour, but my husband and I didn’t like it there. But here it’s probably the taste and color :) and it costs 300 baht for an hour of Thai massage

We absolutely love this place, located on a more quiet part of the island creates the perfect environment to totally unwind. We could not fault anything. The staff are amazing and so helpful, room was well equipped and immaculate, breakfasts very extensive choices. We are planning a family reunion at My Beach resort early next year, can’t wait!

This place is so amazing, especially for family. Nature's beauty at its best. Staff is very friendly and extremely good service. Surprised that not much is written about this wonderful place. We would like to come back here again for sure. Food is extremely tasty and Thai cuisine here is worth trying. Staff members Adul, Zan and the others are just fantastic and extremely good at customer service. They made us so comfortable 😌

Nice hotel with good pool. First room was old and dirty however they sorted it out and moved us to a same grade but better room. I guess they have new and old rooms in the same grading? The first room was creepy, the reception lady brought us to the room and knock loudly on the door which freak me out. The room was next to the corner room facing carpark with dark corridor. I do know that it is an asian practice to knock on the hotel door before staying to drive the spirits away but the way she knocked it seems the spirits is there. My partner was shocked too as we are not into such things. However the first night I felt someone kept walking around the room while my partner was asleep. The aircon kept switching on and off during midnight. I managed to change to another room in another building on my second night which was so-so much better and comfortable. I enjoyed the rest of my days after changing room. The staffs are quite friendly however the food was horrible. The bbq night , theres only fish and prawns as seafood option and they over cooked nor fresh. Breakfast isn’t good as well. Food is bad but their drinks are quite good. Overall the hotel is good and relaxing. Value for money

The hotel is located near Phuket Town - has its quietness yet not too far from Thalang Road The staffs are all very kind and nice Love the ambience of the hotel, the room, the restaurant etc Will definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott if I am back to Phuket

Baba House is an excellent location for guests to access Jonker street and other central sites in Melaka. I'm honestly quite disappointed at a few things. I found some front office/reception staff not very welcoming. I recommend management train them to smile more and when it is not peak, at night, for example to say good evening or at least acknowledge guests. At low peak hour walkabout vs sitting on the reception stool, say hello. We stayed in a room for 3 and it was so spacious. We wondered why the hotel doesn't add a couch or a small seating space. There was more floor space than comfort. Do something so you can charge more for the room vs leaving so much space for guests to do cartwheels in? While I respect that weekends are peak hour. Prepare. We had to ask housekeeping to clean our room when we returned at 4pm. When we ask for water, it was not sent to us. When we asked for water at the hall from housekeeping they said they cannot give more out. The weather is so hot, come up with a solution to give guests water. This isn't acceptable. Management may want to look into the smell perhaps coming from sewage or drain. It is quite strong at the lobby and on our level during the day. Checkout was efficient and we appreciate the complimentary drinks. Having said that, staff at the guest parking area, restaurant and housekeeping are friendly and take the time to smile and acknowledge guests. Thank goodness for that, we are afterall on a holiday.

I'm ****, I should have read the opinions before booking. Wifi is not always available and the opinions have pointed to this problem. What is disgusting is that the staff led us on board and MENTI for several days pretending a momentary decrease of the network or then rain time!!! ??? Stayed here for 2 nights, the check in process is very fast and my room was ready just right in time. Maimoon is the best! She helped me all the way! The room itself have enough space and the view at night is very stunning. The rooftop bar is soooo cozy. The breakfast is superb all food are warm. I had a problem on my last night the electricity suddenly shut down, as I informed reception since it’s very late night I expect to have some delay however I didn’t wait that long engineer arrived and told me that cannot be fixed after 5 mins HK and even FO staff helped me to change the room. I wasn’t able to get their names since it’s late night. Overall I had the best experience and will surely comeback!

This time I took my parents and children to see the Aoyon Beach B&B on Airbnb. I found it on Ctrip and booked it with the idea of ​​giving it a try. We recommend Bandara! We had a lovely journey here at Bandara. The pool and its view are incredible. The room is super clean and confortable and the staff is amazing! Always smiling, ready to help, very charming. They also can help you book any taxi ride or activities. The breakfast was always delicious. We really enjoyed our stay! :) oh and it is 2 minutes walking feom a 7-eleven. ;)
