Before choosing a hotel, I studied the beaches of Phuket. I definitely didn’t want to go to noisy places and crowds of vacationers, which means Patong, Karon, etc. were not suitable. I read about Ao Yon beach that there are fewer tourists there, fewer vendors on the beach, no jet skis, etc., so we chose this hotel and did not regret it.
The hotel is located in a quiet location, but everything you need is nearby within walking distance: massage at Diva, currency exchange, 24-hour grocery store 7/11, several cafes (I recommend Lae Lay), fruit. We rented a car and therefore, if necessary, moved around the island, and then returned to our quiet hotel. The hotel has its own free parking.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, surrounded by greenery, windows overlooking the sea and a beautiful bay, breakfast in a cafe by the sea (photo of the sea from the cafe). For breakfast, there are several options to choose from, unlimited vegetables, fruits, croissants, drinks. There is a small pool and sun loungers next to it. The beach is long, but not wide. When the tide is low, the entrance to the sea is bad, there are stones and corals at the bottom, but the hotel has free kayaks, you can sail further on them, perhaps swim to the neighboring island, but this is not certain. The hotel will provide you with a basket with beach towels, two umbrellas and a beach mat (we saw that they sell these in Patong, but here the hotel gave them to us for free).
The staff is polite, the room is clean and cleaned every day, there is air conditioning, a refrigerator, a microwave, a stove and a minimum set of dishes. You can use a washing machine for a fee. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel.
