Mala Hotel

The first thing we noticed when we presented our Russian passports was that the girls in the lobby looked at each other, and the sarcasm on their faces was undisguised. One of them showed us to our room with a disgruntled expression. We have never been greeted like that anywhere else. This is our fifth hotel on vacation. The TV didn't work for the entire five days, the repairman came and it turned out that there was no signal in the entire hotel. We asked for a hair dryer and an iron in the lobby, signed for them, and then handed them in. Our room was in the old building, to get to it you need to go down the elevator without air conditioning to the 1st floor (the lobby is on the second), go outside, walk a bit, in the old building to go up to the second floor you need to go through a stuffy corridor without air conditioning, the kettle was not in the room, as on the website, but you need to go down to the first floor. Free coffee in the lobby in bags. Breakfast: scrambled eggs or an omelet with ham or sausages, bread, butter, jam. The room was cleaned every day, towels were changed... Water. Kata beach with clear water is nearby) On Patong it is muddy (There is a night market nearby, they inflate prices for rags, but they cut them almost in half.

I liked everything very much! It's 15 minutes to Kata Beach, it's cozy, 20 minutes to Karon, it's huge and the sand is squeaky, so you can choose. There are a lot of cafes and a night market on the way. The staff is friendly, cleaning is every day, there is free coffee at the reception, tea and water in the room. Very soulful. They put us in a deluxe room instead of the standard room we paid for, for which special thanks.
