The standards of this hotel were extremely disappointing, as reflected in the following aspects:
1. Distance and Accessibility: The rooms are very far from the reception and the swimming pool, making them difficult to reach on foot. Getting anywhere requires calling a buggy through the front desk, which is very inconvenient.
2. Front Desk Service: The service at the front desk is extremely slow. It takes one hour to get a service, often requiring two to three follow-ups to receive what you need. The phone in the room frequently doesn’t work, and reporting this to the front desk had no effect. As a result, we had to use international roaming to contact the reservation desk to connect to the front desk. Overall, the service was highly disappointing.
3. Activities and Charges: The hotel has virtually no organized activities. Most of the activities available require additional charges, which are quite high. For comparison, other hotels in Thailand typically offer activities like kayaking and cycling for free, but here, they come at a significant cost.
4. Breakfast: The breakfast options are very limited, and the service is mediocre. The noodles served were the worst I have ever tasted.
5. Room Lighting: The room’s lights turn off automatically, even when someone is in the room reading.
6. Humidity: The rooms are very humid, and the bedding feels damp. We tried using the air conditioning for dehumidification, but it kept turning off automatically.
7. Staff Attitude: The attitude of the staff was very poor. Our luggage was delayed by over two hours upon arrival. When we were leaving, the luggage did not have a tag to alert the staff, and their response was extremely impatient.
8. Beach and Pool: Both the beach and pool are very ordinary. I would not recommend traveling such a long distance to stay at such a mediocre hotel.
