Overall the resort is excellent! Breakfast spread is good and a lot of variety. Location of the beach is at the quieter side, away from the crowds. But there is still a local thai place next to it if you don't want to eat in (for any reason).
The only bad spot I had here was the service! We arrived very late at night and my husband was rushing out for dinner. So the front desk staff asked me to download the app, but failed to inform me that I need to get it scanned to get any services for the room.
Fast forward to my third day, and my daughter insisted on room service. We tried to find a menu in the room for 15 mins (there were some qr codes there on hotel info, but nothing on room service). Next i called for room service from the phone, it connected me to a CALL CENTER. The person there tried to "transfer" me to room service when I explained that I could not find the menu on the app as she was guidng me. NOBODY picked up the line. I tried this 3-4x, and each time the call center just kept insisting to follow this process.
Finally, i sent my husband and daughter to a resturant to explain the problem, and order there and just deliver the food. They refused, and while they said they would check, they were just left standing there until they came back.
Finally,i was so angry that I went to front desk to complain, asked to speak to a MANAGER (as there were now 3 points of service failure). They finally called my room and send a normal waiter/person to apologize but he was only the person in charge of room service.
Until I left, no manager came up to me to apoligize for so many issues and just leftit to each individual front staff, who were anyways resposible for these mistakes. NOT VERY GOOD SERVICE RECOVERY for a 4-5 star resort, which left me quite disappointed.
I would still recommend the place, but don't expect too much help when things go wrong.
