Absolutely loved this place! Very nice staff members ! It’s close enough to Kata and Karon beaches and the smaller night life area if you don’t want to be in the Katong area

Nice place to stay alone (without kids): good location, medium clean and moderate quality of room (some things looks tired and old), but pretty overall.
Sometimes its loud there because of bar downstairs and around.

I stayed here for a day. The facilities are quite complete. Some of the service staff in the hotel speak English very well. I also found all the pictures I found randomly hahaha. The location is quite convenient. There are many massages and restaurants nearby. It is also close to the beach.

Awful experience! Booked to stay in the guesthouse for a couple of days, deposit was paid and everything was confirmed via email for our arrival only to arrive and be told are room was not allocated and there was no space for us to stay! The staff obviously didn’t care and it took a few times complaining to finally be able to speak to the owner who also didn’t care. The story for why our booking wasn’t confirmed changed several times and eventually gave up with trying to resolve the issue and left to another hotel where we had a lovely time. Don’t bother it’s not worth the hassle of staying here and the bar also lacked any character, not worth your money!

Since the owner, Maurice's tragic passing last year this place has gone to pot. Once the hub of activity on the crescent surrounding Centara, it's now completely dead. The food is dreadful and takes forever to arrive and the atmosphere has completely vanished. People take one look then vanish again. That warm and welcoming vibe it had has gone; replaced with this feeling that the staff are only there for the wage and can't wait for closing time. Whoever has taken it over, clearly has no interest in the place. It just sits there now, open but empty. There's a tiny bar next door, James' Bar, with two tables and about eight seats. That gets more customers now! That's how bad things have become. It truly is such a shame to see such an iconic pub go to the wall like this, but sadly it has.

Firstly Maurice RIP was never the Owner, a Great Chef & Restaurant Manager, He passed away this Year. Could I ask when you were in O'Tool's and what your ordered? I will look into that and get back to you. Us like millions of Businesses around the world suffered over the last 2 and half years from Covid. We are running on a restricted Menu, Staff & Opening Hours so that we can maintain fresh Ingredients and try to reduce our losses. Meals are cooked to order, which takes a little longer. We have kept our Loyal Staff going throughout the Pandemic, with no help or assistance from the Government. These are extremely difficult times and Karon Beach has been one of the last places to recover in Phuket. Only in the last week or so are we seeing a glimmer of hope for the Future. I hope you now better understand and can show a little bit of empathy under the harsh circumstances. Kind Regards

Waited for our food for over an hour, and there was no one at the restaurant. the drinks were aweful but the servers were very nice. The nachos I ordered were a bowl of slop with cheese sauce and salsa dumped into it, when our main burger finally came, it was not very good either, overpowering tasted like rosemary. Would definitely not eat here again.
