Overall, it's a very good place to stay. It's in the alley next to the street. It has its own beach, swimming pool, and bar for dining (coconuts are very cheap). Guests can get discounts when they report their room number. It's just a short walk away. Arriving at King Kong Supermarket, a shopping mecca, there are also massage parlors nearby. The water pressure in the bathroom is low, and the refrigerator provides large bottles of water, which turns out to be charged.
Cottage Village Phu Quoc is a charming and cozy resort nestled in a quiet corner of the island. The bungalows are well-maintained and offer a comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and has a tranquil atmosphere that allows for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
The staff at Cottage Village Phu Quoc are friendly and accommodating, and they go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests. The resort also has a lovely pool area.
Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay on Phu Quoc island, Cottage Village Phu Quoc is a great option.

Plenty of sun beds by the beach, gorgeous see to swim in

Thanks for Stay in Mango Bay we will return 😃
The service is friendly. I really like this location. The price is cheap and it’s also in the night market. There are a variety of room types to choose from. It’s very convenient to eat.

very hospitable and wonderful hotel. I liked everything, from the size of the room which after Ho Chi Minh is really big, to the beach, which is a wild beach and the island’s people go there to swim, but the fact of the matter is that the beaches adjacent to the hotels are full of employees who watch your every step and here there are few people only, a good local bar and excellent Saigon coffee , the water in the sea has always been warm. from hotel till beach is 7-10 min by slow step.
The hotel pool was clean and after sunset everyone always went out to swim and dive.
The room was cleaned every day, clean towels, new bottles of water.
We wanted to make a fish barbecue but we had no experience for making fare & a hotel employee helped us. he went and bought fuel and helped light the coals. Without him it definitely wouldn’t have happened.....we are very glad that we chose Aurora House to stay.

The place is a tropical paradise with an astonishing beach and gardens. They offer an outstanding island experience with a very nice night market opposite the hotel. The rooms are brand new with all the needed comfort. But it’s also noticeable that the area is so big that staff are not capable
Of keeping it tidy and clean. There was another room in our villa that had the door open during all our stay. We had a small incident in the bathroom with the mirror falling when I went to sleep. But the management reacted very quickly and fixed everything. Despite that it was a bit scary and luckily that the mirror didnt break. It was not fixed very well to the wall. The breakfast is good. Would come back despite the small issues that we has

Absolutely amazing hotel for families. The rooms are big and spacious, including a living room, kitchen and washing machine. Hotel breakfast is diverse and they have a kids room (no staff) to entertain the kids while adults are eating. Pools are gorgeous and they have lots of activities for kids and adults. Service is above and beyond with a smile. Bar on the 19th floor is superb.

cons
There was a wedding ceremony on the Tuesday night at the hotel beach, I had to hear super loud music till 9:30pm.
Their famous mango bingsu turned out it is not a must try. Shaved milk ice was too sweet and sticky (I guess it is made out of condensed milk which I don’t like personally) fresh mango in the market is the best in Phu quoc. You can buy more than 5kg mangos for 1 bingu price.
breakfast quality is slightly better than local hotel but it doesn’t meet international hotel standard. bread section was okay but they need to work on the menu for vegetarian, especially at the main meal like rice noodle.
This time I stayed 3 different hotels, generally I prefer more eco friendly resort like ocean bay. If I stay at the global franchise brand hotel, the Regent will be my choice.
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights during Christmas, and our experience at this family-friendly resort was disappointing. There were not enough beach chairs by the beach and pool—only about 40 available. In such a large resort, it's surprising to encounter this issue. Many guests occupied the chairs early in the morning and then left, indicating poor communication and management.
Additionally, there was a chronic shortage of towels by the pool, and the staff by the beach and pool failed to coordinate effectively. We were told to sit on the ground while chairs that had been reserved for over five hours remained unoccupied, which was very disappointing.
There were only 1 or 2 staff members responsible for the beach and lifeguarding, and the kayak rental service was disorganized due to insufficient staffing and lack of proper arrangements.
Overall, this 5-star family resort did not meet our expectations, and we will not choose to stay here again.

UUticaI was impressed by the infinity pool when I arrived at the hotel. We have booked a ocean view room which faced the ocean with a great view, the room is spacious. The staff at reception counters and restaurant were polite and pleasant. Food at restaurants were good. However, all our good impression was ruined by the arrangement on airport transfer. I did booked the airport transfer for my return flight before this trip, and confirmed to have 4 people via email. Unluckily, they had made a wrong estimation on the number of people for airport transfer, the shuttle bus was overbooked. My husband need to sit on a wooden chair though the transfer time was 15 mins only. I was wonder that such kind of mistake was made by a famous & luxury hotel group.

GGuest UserFirst time staying at La Festa, it was very comfortable and convenient. The front desk staff was warm and courteous, with high efficiency in handling tasks, quickly and effectively resolving the issues I raised. The hotel was also very clean, the breakfast offered a variety of foods, and the staff were proactive and polite. I will definitely stay here again.
LLuuchaReally love this hotel. It is so beautiful with the beach just right behind the hotel. The location is also good as it is near the Phu Quoc night market. Massage, nail service shops are also nearby. There is free bus to Vinwonders too, the bus stop is a short walking distance from the hotel. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserVilla is large and clean, with a pretty big swimming pool that can actually swim. Services are good, providing an app to communicate with the staff and able to book services through it, like book buggy or in villa BBQ etc. But most of the staff need to improve their English speaking abilities, i guess only 1/3 of the staff can actually communicate with English. Other than that, it’s a very good villa.
CCurious Ape1. Missing amenity: NOT all rooms have washing machine inside, even though it is clearly stated that this is included in the room amenities. The host/reception staff did NOT specify this information before OR after check in. Even if the machine is there, the host/reception staff does not provide any token amount of laundry detergent. So remember to “Bring your own detergent”
2. Vague communications: Questions emailed to the host via Trip.com are not always answered by the host (ie either no response at all or very late reply). Trip.com was helpful in advising me to email directly to the host (**************************) when the host failed to respond to some of my emails. However, it seems like the host does not check it’s own email box so I never get any response from that mailbox
3. Tedious check in process: There isn’t any clear information about the exact location of their office. Check in information is given ONLY via Chatting apps (eg Zalo, Kakao, Line or Whatsapp) at exactly the check in time, 2 pm (rooms are highly unlikely to be ready before that). I went directly to their physical office for assistance. Their office (with blue signage “Rosie”) is shabby and dubious-looking and totally incongruous with the given “Luxury Hillside Apartment” name). You MUST have mobile data roaming at that point to receive the room access code. The security guards based at each building’s beautiful reception floor have nothing to do with the rooms managed by this tiny “Rosie” office
4. Minimal staff: Cleaning staff hired by this Rosie agency seems unable to cope with the large number of room cleaning prior to guests’ check in. In the end, I think the limited manpower could only manage very basic, superficial cleaning of rooms. Ants seem to have built a colony in hidden crevices in some of the units as there’re always some crawling around the kitchenette/clothes-hanging cabinet every now and then
5. It’s a 50/50 chance of whether you are assigned a fairly new and really nice apartment or a worn-out one with some broken down/missing fixtures. You just have to risk it, in return for a stunning view of the fireworks (in rooms facing the Kiss Bridge)
6. The agency staff are okay and they do try to help. Unfortunately, I find them somewhat inexperienced and their services and expertise are a mismatch for this fine category of apartments. The Rosie agency staff have a tendency to give routine, generic answers when dealing with feedback and complaints. They probably can do well in operating guest houses or backpackers’ lodge where expectations from guests are much lower
TTina TanyaI was very disappointed by my stay, unexpected much better service from Movenpick.
The worst part is that the hotel is located near something that looks like a factory or maybe a recycling plant, and there is constant smog on the territory. We literally had to escape the resort everyday to breathe normal air in the other parts of the island.
The food choice was also disappointing, no seafood like you'd expect to have on the island.
But the hotel and beach are very clean. The housekeeping department really do the job well.
AAgent WillThe room is clean and tidy, but i dont like the glass wall of the bathroom. If the TV has the built in Netflix, that would be fantastic
Facilities
Gym room is small, with limited equipment. But i guess it is fine, as not many people were there during my stay
swimming pool and beach
There are two and both are good. there are always some staff cleaning the pool, so i am not worried about the water quality. Beach is right next to the hotel and water activities are there for you to choose
breakfast is good, with lots of choices. we were asked to have breakfast in the function room as they said the restaurant was full. i could imagine the hotel was fully booked that weekend
Hotel provides airport pickup and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The price is higher than other local brands, and you can see the difference from the service quality.
One more thing, the night market is just opposite to the hotel and this one is clean and tidy.
Definitely i will stay in this hotel again

GGuest Userloved their property with all trees and flowers + cute pool and beach in front, wooden house and stone bath tub.
but the service was kinda slow. There was a long wait at the reception to get response from them when I had trouble and complain about it. communication did not go smoothly, many local staff don’t speak english, plus food does not tasty at all include breakfast and hotel restaurant for the dinner. not many option for vegetarian.
prepare repellent at night, if you wanna sit at the terrace or open area at the restaurant.
JJune Yoon YiI visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.

GGuest UserThe resort has alot of potential with an exclusive beach, swimming pool and eloquent rooms (some with great views). Breakfasts are great. The manager was good and takes pride in the resort, however when he was not around in the afternoons and evenings service was rare and hard to find. You have to actively go look for restaurant staff to place an order or pay. The restaurant could be alot more profitable if staff actively removed plates and asked clients if they could get them anything e.g dessert, drinks. They charge a service fee, but with little service.
It advertises a gym, but equipment is in disrepair, they should not advertise facilities which are not functional.
There is not much around the resort in terms of restaurants, bars and shops. It is also not an easy location to get to, but yet we found the reception unhelpful in getting transport.
All in all the resort could be great, but service needs to be improved.
