2-Star Hotels in Phnom Penh

I stayed here for x3 nights at the beginning of December 2022, I found this hotel was a very good value for money, I had a Deluxe Double room with window on the top floor, the room itself was very large and spacious, the bed in my opinion was a queen size bed, aircon was quiet and worked well. The bathroom was small but had enough space to do what was needed and the shower was very impressive, nice warm water with high water pressure and a massive shower head. The bed was comfy to sleep in. The bar downstairs was very reasonably priced and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel wasn't in the main area of all the bars however this wasn't a problem as there were still plenty of street food markets within walking distance and I also enjoyed the walk up to the river side of an evening. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't have time to use the pool myself however there were plenty of guests which did and looked like there were plenty of loungers available to use throughout the day. It would be great if free bottles of water were provided in the rooms every day though and they didn't charge to top your water bottle up.

Amazing hostel I had a lot of fun meeting new friends and party specially pub crawl nights can’t wait to be back.

Our third hostel in Cambodia and second in Phnom Penh. Located in downtown, close to busy riverside road, booked mix dorm four beds with toilet. Place close to Royal Palace in walking distance 15 minuets. Restaurant, socialising area on rooftop with snooker and arrows. Everything looks clean and new but missing a bit of soul and taste, mostly by small decorations. Dishes in restaurant with higher price tag comparing other hostel and then we chose another hostel for breakfasts. Staff having great potential to be more service minded and friendly when asking for knife, cutlery.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed 3 nights in the family room. It was new, clean and big! Location was also great. We were well received by a smiling staff that took good care of us. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the soft opening did not include the full Accor plus benefits with dining discount. I was, however notified, that there was a note in the booking about this. I had missed this. That being said, we were served a really good breakfast at around 7$ pr person. Our waiter was so nice and took very good care of us:-) I also liked that there was water available from a dispenser in the hallway. Overall a great stay, and it will be even better after the grand opening and all Accor benefits are included! I recommend staying here. The staff was the best part of the stay. They made our stay memorable.

+/ Ideal location and above an open supermarket 24/7, and near the Royal Palace Gardens. Clean and spacious room. Very pleasant staff and small care. -/ Noisy enough. Presence of rats in the dusts of the corridors.

The best value for money in Cambodia. Small fridge and a water boiler for making tea/coffee. Everything in the bathroom is just working. Perfectly situated on the river promenade. On a hot day, the wind will cool down your body. Very talkative staff, coming from Nepal. Good restaurant in the ground floor with traditional indian dishes..

From the moment we set foot in Onederz the staff were great, so helpful and informative. We immediately booked our bus to Siem Reap on arrival as well as a tour and paid for it all at once which was nice and efficient. The private room was nice and it’s in a great location. There’s a nice pool although we didn’t use it and it generally has nice vibes. The view across the Tonle Sap River from the restaurant are lovely with some very good value food and drink on offer too. The options for vegetarian were slightly limited but there are plenty of places to eat in Phnom Penh outside of the hostel anyway. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for better value for money.

i am very glad,that i staing in this gesthouse.there are not so many places,where so kind and friendly owners and staff.Its very qwite,comfortable and good location gesthouse with shops,interesting plases and very easy to come to famous turistic plases such riverside and central market. also,there are many store and shops with good and brend things.I recommend this gesthouse for everybody who want to spent relax and good times.and local people near are very friendly and will not look at like on crazy animal in the zoo.

This was my 2nd time stayed here, but wasn't too impressed as my first. Got smaller room without balcony. The bed was fine, and the room was clean. The aircon works perfectly, and the room lighting was properly light. The bathroom didn't has separation, so it was whole wet. But the hot water runs great. The property is 1Km away from Danh Danh Bus to Ho Chi Minh, so it's in a walking distance. Its is also only USD1-2 TukTuk away to main attractions in Phnom Penh, also close to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. No breakfast were provided, but you can ask for hot water to make your cup noodle. Easy check-in/out. With the price I've paid, this hotel I would recommend you for those who wants to travel in budget with comfort.

When we went here, we were on a budget. We arrived at night, only to realise our card didn't work and they told us to pay the next day, giving us the first night for free. Now I don't know if this is standard procedure, but I was so grateful when it happened because it made me appreciate the staff more and the trust they had (of course I paid the next day if you were wondering!). We had no qualms, the room had everything we needed. Wifi was great, tuk tuks are everywhere and you could go places without it being expensive. If you're on a budget, I would recommend this place. It's clean and does the work. Ours was on the third floor and it was all stairs, which wasn't an issue for us because we only had light bags. If you're planning on bringing a heavy luggage, maybe you'd want to take that into consideration. Lovely stay, will recommend for cleanliness, and staff kindness.
