Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya

Our second stay in Centara Mirage and it is still a great choice for families, especially considering the water park possibilities. The first room was a little bit smelly (I'm not sure it was fresh paint), but we were lucky and got an other room which satisfied us. One minus, but still 5* star rating for us: the AC is in the lowest mode is still to loud to fall into sleep - the Fan was also to loud. So, during the night it was very warm and we sweat a lot (I felt back into my youth, when spending sommer vacation with my parents in some hotel in the 90's without AC...and yes, we all survived).

Good things - Good room design and accesories after renovation - The beach is just there. - Good Japanese restaurant "Hagi". Need to improve - Staff's service mind is under the standard. You will rarely see a smile from the staffs such as Check in counter, Oasis restauraunt and even at Kid's room. - For breakfast, the quantity is good, but the quality and taste are not delicious. Especially, the fruits and bad. - No welcome drink and no complimentary snack or fruit at the room on the first day.

Good hotel for family but a bit crowded. The location is centre of Pattaya.

Very good for family with children. Nice swimming pool. Spend your vacation here for NOW.

The pool floors aren’t very deep, and we noticed that on some of the larger slides, there’s a potential risk of injury for taller people. The shallow water combined with the fast speed of some slides could lead to unexpected bumps or discomfort, particularly if you land incorrectly. It would be ideal for the hotel to address this concern and ensure that guests are more aware of the potential risks. Aside from the water park, our room was spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a short stay. The staff were polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya is a great place for a fun-filled getaway, particularly if you’re looking to enjoy water-based activities. The water park is undoubtedly a major attraction, but guests should be mindful of the slide risks. Overall, we had an unforgettable time, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel for those seeking adventure and relaxation, especially families with children.
