First stay here. Arrived around 12pm and met by Kierk. Received a warm welcome. Fortunately room was ready for me. Check in was a breeze. When I got into my room, my first impression was WOWWWWW! Big room with a sofa bed. Nice carpeted room with a big comfy bed and pillows. A set of soft and firm pillows. Big working desk and complete drink amenities. The shower needed some trial and error though. But I finally manage to adjust the hot water (there’s a safety knob). Strong and warm. Will definitely stay here again.

Subject: Praise for Sep; Critical Report on 7th Floor Foul Odo r Praise: Front Desk Officer Mr. Sep provided outstanding support and exceptional customer service, successfully finding a room near my brother's during our brief stay. Issue: The 7th-floor corridor and rooms have a severe and persistent foul, sewage-like odor. This is a critical maintenance issue that seriously impacts guest comfort. Action: Please investigate the source immediately. Short-term measures (air purifiers/minty fresheners) are needed until the root cause is fixed.

Location is good, travelling to SMX in 15 minutes. Opposite is shopping mall and many selection of food. Room are clean. Air-conditioning is too cold for me but cannot be adjusted. Breakfast average. My room is facing over other room. No view.

My overall experience was just fine. It was my first time booking an IHG hotel, and I sent a special request that unfortunately wasn’t granted — or maybe just forgotten. On the bright side, I did get to enjoy the late check-out perk, which I appreciated. Breakfast was okay, but not something I’d particularly look forward to having again. In our room, the left bedside lamp wasn’t working, and while the other lamp functioned, its protective cover was already shattered, which was a bit disappointing to see. Check-out was smooth and quick. The staff simply confirmed that payment was settled and let me drop off the room keys — they didn’t even check the room anymore! 😅 Location-wise, it’s great if you have a flight in or out of Terminal 3, since it’s within walking distance. The Newport Mall is also conveniently located just across the street.
