Guangdong Hotel-Near Mall of Asia, SMX & Manila World Trade Center

✅cigarette smoke smells all over the elevator,hallways ✅cigarette smoke smells on the room esp bed and pillows despite requesting smoke free treatment room ✅keycard was not working ,our room was 5th floor and we have to come down again at the lobby knowing that they accidentally check out our room, they said they would fix it but they did not..so everytime we go in our room we would ask for their assistant to open our room(why is that,could they just recheck in our room then update our own keycard) ✅at the middle of the night someone just opened our door,its the utility daw causing disturbance,fright😱 and uncomfortability at the place,we could not sleep peacefully thingking someone/anyone could open our room 😱(a do not disturb notice tag was hanging outside our door) then morning comes someone again opened our door causing again more fright..wala na pong privacy...no security and privacy in this place *photo showing that we already put a chair behind the door preventing anyone to just open the door

Clean, convenient, and easy to get around. It was a bit noisy at times, but overall, it was an amazing stay. Thank you!

The location is very convenieny to the location of the event I am attending which is the SMX Concention center. The cleanliness is okay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I had a wonderful stay. Looking forward to staying more in this hotel in the future.

Formal Complaint About My Experience at Guangdong Hotel, Pasay (Manila) Dear Guangdong Hotel Management, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent experience at Guangdong Hotel located in Pasay, Manila, on July 12 around 4am-5am I have stayed at your hotel several times in the past, but due to the unacceptable behavior of one of your staff members, I no longer feel comfortable returning—nor recommending your hotel to my friends or fellow tourists. On that morning, I arrived at the hotel with my girlfriend and attempted to check in. However, we were denied check-in because she did not have a physical ID. While I understand that hotel policies must be followed, she had a digital photo of her ID on her phone, which was still not accepted. Even if this is your policy, the staff’s rude and disrespectful behavior was completely uncalled for. There was a male staff member in a blue shirt near the elevator who was extremely impolite and confrontational. When I told him I would speak to the manager, he looked at us with a contemptuous and arrogant expression, and replied “It’s okay” — clearly in a mocking or dismissive tone, as if daring me to complain. The way he looked at us was aggressive and made me feel threatened. I urge you to review the CCTV footage from that time to witness the incident for yourself. Furthermore, none of the staff acknowledged us when we left to find another hotel. Not even a simple “goodbye” or offer of help. I was truly disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and basic hospitality. It is unfortunate because I used to recommend Guangdong Hotel in Pasay to other tourists and friends. But after this experience, I can no longer do so. It was honestly the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I hope you take this complaint seriously and take the appropriate action to improve your staff’s behavior and customer service.

The lobby wasn’t impressive but I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was spacious and clean. Had coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom was great as it had amenities such as toothbrush, comb and razor. It had hot and cold shower as well. All this and it was at a good price

Stayed 1 night. Room was ok. Get what you paid for. Good for a quick stay near the airport. Stayed in non smoking room, but smelt like cigarette smell coming through. 15 minute walk to Mall of Asia. Jollibee and Burger King at front of hotel. Would recommend for a quick stay.
