"Just got home from a 3 night stay at Downton Lodge. Such a peaceful and welcoming place, well away from any hustle and bustle, but with easy access to the river Dart and Dartmouth itself.
Nothing is to much trouble for Andrew and Martin, they make you feel very welcome and at home.
The rooms are beautifully finished and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, quality ingredients, beautifully cooked to order and served in the lovely breakfast room with great views of the Devon countryside.
All in all, a great little break. We will be back."
