"While the location might be a bit far for someone who enjoys sightseeing, the public transport links were excellent, as it's truly right next to the subway station. This made getting around incredibly convenient. The room was quite small, with practically no space beyond the bed itself. The biggest drawback was the extremely low ceiling above the bed; sitting upright meant bumping my head. I literally had to lie down just to take a sip of water, which was incredibly awkward! The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, and all the amenities were in good working order. So, for budget-conscious travelers, this is still a solid option!"

"The room was clean. Near by Seine river and Effiel Tower. Once walk out from the hotel, you will see the Effiel Tower right away. Convenient location. You can plan the boat trip, visit to the Effiel Tower and walk around the neighborhood with a lot of good restaurants! A valuable deal considering the room price and location."

"If hostels aren’t for you this is a good alternative, not the best location though so if your alone and don’t want to uber to and from central paris don’t reccomend. Not the hotels fault, nice staff, i can’t speak any french and they were really accommodating."

"The room size is great for family of 4. The kids enjot the bath tube and we enjoyed to cooked and had our meal with Eiffel view for the reasonable price. The breakfast was great. You must try the fresh orange juice."

"First off, the location is incredibly convenient. Montparnasse Metro Station is just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to reach any part of Paris. The front desk service was also quite good, and the facilities were very comprehensive. The free mini-bar was a pleasant surprise, and the security measures were excellent. However, the biggest drawback was the hotel's hygiene, which was genuinely concerning. Upon arrival, I even found residual body hair on the bedsheets and duvet cover. Luckily, I had brought my own. Room cleaning was only average, and the mini-bar wasn't restocked for two days after its contents were used. Overall, there's significant room for improvement."

"I booked a bed in a 4-Bed Women Only Dormitory – Private Bathroom. Here are the pros and cons for your consideration: Pros: - Good location: 2-minute walk to the metro (M7) and bus stop (Sully-Morland), 5-minute walk to a minimart (Franprix) - The staff is very service-minded - Super clean: bed, bathroom, and shared area - Separate shared bathrooms for males and females - Good security: you need a key card to access your floor and your room - Easy and quick check-in - There’s a locker to keep your belongings (you need to provide your own key, and large lockers are charged if needed) Cons: - Bath towel costs €4 - No amenities in the private bathroom (no shower gel or shampoo), but toilet paper is provided - When you shower, water only flows for about 10 seconds per tap, so you need to tap frequently - Water in the private bathroom is very slow; it’s better to use the shared bathroom Overall, I loved it! I will stay here again if I visit Paris next time."

"Excellent location with a fantastic view; watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle from our balcony at night was a real highlight. However, the room's soundproofing was poor; we could clearly hear noise from the neighbors and the street outside. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of options, and the fresh-squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious. Service was just average. At 5 PM, check-in time, I was told our room wasn't ready. It was only after I complained that they bothered to check and then informed me it was actually ready. I suspect if I hadn't pushed, I would have been waiting even longer. It felt like service quality declined significantly when the hotel was busy. The main issue, however, was a very strong urine smell in the bathroom. It was incredibly obvious, and frankly, I don't know what the problem was. Out of all the hotels we stayed at during our two-week trip across France, this was the *only* one with a hygiene problem like this."

"It was a very nice location to stay. Eiffel was just 20 mins walk away. Other places was also easily walkable. The area is very peaceful. The transportation is also very accessible. Main thing is the owners are very helpful and kind."

Whether you’re planning to explore the city or heading out for day trips, getting around from here is a breeze. It’s also right next to the Palais des Congrès, so I imagine it’s a great option for business travelers as well. But the real magic of this hotel lies in its views. When I checked in, I politely asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor—and I was lucky enough to be given a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. As soon as I walked in and saw that iconic silhouette framed perfectly by the floor-to-ceiling window, I was speechless. During the day, it was stunning. At night, it became something truly special, with twinkling lights illuminating the tower and casting a warm glow over the city. I found myself sitting quietly by the window, just taking it all in. It felt like Paris was unfolding just for me. The room itself was sleek, modern, and very comfortable. It wasn’t overly spacious, but it was perfectly arranged with thoughtful details—an incredibly cozy bed, a great coffee machine, high-quality toiletries, and excellent lighting. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring the city. Breakfast was served on the 34th floor, and it was an experience in itself. The panoramic views over Paris were breathtaking. Sitting there with a warm croissant and coffee while watching the city wake up beneath me was one of the most peaceful moments of the trip. The breakfast spread was varied and delicious, and the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing. What stood out most about this hotel, though, was the quiet warmth of the service. The staff had that classic French elegance—discreet but welcoming, helpful without being intrusive. Even the housekeeping staff were thoughtful, and when I checked out, the front desk staff asked how my stay had been with such genuine interest that I found myself smiling for the rest of the day. To me, the Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile wasn’t just a hotel. It felt like a window into the heart of Paris—a place to quietly take in the beauty of the city, to rest, to breathe. It offered a sense of stillness and perspective, even in a city as lively and vibrant as Paris. If I return to Paris—and I certainly hope I will—I already know I’ll be coming back here. No other reason needed, really, other than that one unforgettable evening, sipping wine by the window, watching the Eiffel Tower shimmer in the dark. That moment alone was worth the entire trip."

"Perfect location. New, clean and surprisingly spacious room by Parisian standard. Located on a side street but only a few steps away from the trendy Haut Marais area surrounded by endless cafe and restaurant options. Staff are super friendly. Amenities on the other hand are rather basic. Bring your own slippers, sanitary set and earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Staying on the first floor, I was woken up every morning by the sound of the kitchen downstairs preparing breakfast. Note that there is no mini fridge in the room and the door cannot be locked from inside if that concerns you. Prices fluctuate a lot so compare before booking. Will definitely stay again."
