Hotels near Eurypile in Paris

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

Perfect location being in the centre of Paris and is a couple stops away from the Louvre museum on the metro. It is also allows quick and convinient travel to other main central tourist spots. The hotel is situated on a key road where many embassies closely reside (British, Japanese, American, Canadian etc.), hence there is heavy government security staff and is a very safe location to stay in, in addition to the mainy designer retail stores and boutiques also situated on the same road and surrounding areas. The hotel itself looks modern, chique and promising upon entering into the reception, however the front desk staff were two men who did not seem entirely friendly and welcoming and failed to greet us properly upon arrival. There should have been better hotel staff etiquette. The room was ckean, basic and minimal in decor but unfortunately quite small, particularly the bathroom. For a 4* hotel, I would've expected a better modern decor, toiletries and complimentary items, for example handwash liquid bottles, cotton buds and shower caps as well as more bottles of water (there was only 1 provided upon arrival when there were 2 of us). There was no wow factor and seemed pretty basic.. there have been 3* hotel rooms I have stayed in which have been more impressive in size, decor and supplementaries. The TV channels are all in French which doesn't consider other main languages of international tourists so we had little indoor entertainment. There were also initial issues with the shower head in the bathroom too which was thankfully fixed by a staff member quickly after we brought it to their staff's attention. Street views of boutiques and official government buildings were quite nice. The worst part was that there was no sound proofing in the room. First night was the worst sleep I've had in a hotel and I could literally hear everything from the surrounding rooms (creeking, flushing, piping etc) as well as outdoor drunken shouting, even with the windows closed. The hotel appears to have selectively refurbished rooms, which I also read from other reviews seem to have better sound proofing anf modern decor. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there is any intention to update all the rooms to match the same 4* quality standard, which how management appear to be controlling the room prices. Hence, my best recommendation is to pay more for a refurbished room/prestige room to get a better stay experience (not the superior rooms because there is nothing superior about them).

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

Great location, many shops and restaurants outside. A very big Metro & RER station just outside the hotel. Great room, very big and comfortable. Great breakfast with the option of preparing fruit juice for yourself. There was also a variety of sweet things and also eggs, cheese, vegetables, sausages, variety of bread, fruits, yogurt, granola etc’ We had a great experience in this hotel and we highly recommend it. We booked from trip.com which was much cheaper than the other options and the booking was smooth.

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the ”back office” and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the ”inconvenience.” I think this event qualified substantially above the level of ”inconvenience” and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language ”do not disturb” sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a ”closed” sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had ”never heard of it.”) We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a ”cubby hole” to a ”shoebox-sized” room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

The room and hotel was very nice, friendly, and clean. As with any room with a great location overlooking an extremely active, fun area in Paris, the noise from delivery trucks etc. throughout the night is loud. I would accept the noise because I like being in that type of area. However, the soundproofing of the room from noise coming from other rooms and floors is pretty bad. We could hear other people talking, opening and closing doors, and listening to their TV throughout the night. Again, the room itself was great, and we loved the wrap-around balcony on the Privilege with Balcony room on the fifth floor. The view was over the street below and classic Paris rooftops. The bathroom does not have a stand up shower curtain, only a wand type shower head, but that worked quite well for us and was common throughout France. We would definitely stay there again. We did not have breakfast there since there are numerous breakfast cafes nearby. Also, we were there 3 nights and two full days. Our room was not made up on the second day while we were gone all day. They offered to make it up while we were out for the evening, but we declined the offer. The hotel is in a very nice, fun location. Each of the desk attendants spoke excellent English and were very helpful.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. I recently spent five nights at this hotel, conveniently situated near several metro stops and just a stone's throw from a bustling main street. The location couldn't be more ideal for exploring the city. The room was nice. However, I did find the room to be a bit cold and the walls were somewhat thin. Despite these small drawbacks, the hotel offers exceptional value for money. The staff was very nice.

The hotel's location was exceptional. Everything was close by by feet, many cafes and restaurants, as well as the Latin Quarter which is also full of restaurants and bars. Moreover, the hotel was really close to a metro station, as well as a couple of bus station, if someone is not interested in walking. The only issue (which was not so terrible once you get used to it) is that the room (I had booked a single room) had a very small bathroom.
