Hotels near Ecole Vatel in Paris

The positives: This hotel is a good value for the money. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. We booked two rooms, and arrived at 9:30 AM; check in is 2:00 PM. The rooms were ready, we were allowed to go up, and had a nap before beginning our day. Both rooms had 3 beds, one room with two balconies and one with one. Our two balcony room looked out over the street, and the other over a building and lot. (Let me tell you it is amazing to open your window and listen to the street noises at night. Makes you feel like you're really there!) Paris 121 is located well, only 1 block to the Metro. With a lovely bakery across the street, nice cafe's a short walk away, a middle eastern restaurant right across the street, and even a grocery store a block and a half away, for us the location was ideal. The negatives: The internet was spotty, so you can't really depend on it. The pillows were very hard and need to be replaced. The breakfast was a buffet, so you could eat all you needed to eat, but was the same every day which became boring after 4 days' time. Was it the Ritz? Nope, but then again, we didn't PAY for the Ritz! Was it a good value for the money? I would say a definite yes. We would definitely stay there again. It was a great start to the New Year, 2022!

It was wonderful to be there, thanks for having us and providing good services. Everything was superb, value for money. I don't understand why people have given the bad ratings, I stayed on the 5th floor, the room was clean and properly set up, the shared washroom was properly cleaned and sanitized, the bed was super comfortable, and what else? An iron they gave for clothes, a really good shared shower room. The hotel should be listed at 5 stars. I found nothing wrong. The staff was nice and helpful. We went for a quick trip for 2 days for a Proposal photoshoot and our budget was really less and F1 was the only hotel offering the pricing as per our budget, we were afraid to see the reviews on TA but still thought of trying It. Trust me, everything was excellent, much more than expected. I will stay always there for future trips, will not waste money on expensive hotels unnecessarily which are equally Good. Give it a try yourself and I am sure you are going to love it.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The hotel is situated at ”Porte de Clichy” metro statio. Location of this hotel is at best, metro station, subway, tram station, bus station and E-bike stations are just within 100m like 1 minute walking in all directions. You will have all options to travel to anywhere in Paris without Bolt, Uber. We didn't have breakfast there so can't say much about that. Rooms are tiny as compared to other countries but that's common in France, you will find the same size room everywhere in every hotel. We stayed in Amsterdam and they also had the same size room. So rooms should not be an issue for anyone. A bit noisy because of the tram running outside but if you have enjoyed Paris the whole day then your tired body won't recognise the noise. The staff is good, we were handled on time.

It has a quite good location. but still little bit far from the city center. And staff at front desk are not that work well. they are sometimes confusing what bed is available. also they are not that concentrating on the online booking. seems like… But really clean and good facilities i highly recommend

Serviced apartment, we stayed in Paris for 8 nights, very convenient. First of all, the location is good. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Notre-Dame du Louvre d'Orsay, and there are two subway stations nearby, which is also very convenient. In the past few days, we mainly visited museums on foot. Secondly, although it is cleaned every two or three days, there is unlimited towels at the self-service, and it is equipped with a microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator and dishwasher. This week, we basically made breakfast in the room with bread and other things bought at Carrefour City Supermarket. , tableware, toaster, etc. complete, perfect! Then, the free coffee and chocolate downstairs are also great. I have to drink one before going out and after coming back every day. It’s cloudy and rainy in Paris these days and it’s cold. It’s not too comfortable to drink a cup of hot chocolate right away when you get back to the hotel.

I had a double room. It was very clean and calm, with a large bathroom. The rooms' decoration is certainly dated and basic but it is functional. The person at the reception the day I left was extremely helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located: about 100m from Gare Saint Lazare (and the metro) and very close to shops and large department stores in a very lively neighbourhood. I would happily stay there again. Great value for money.

A very cost-effective hotel in Paris, all the staff are very warm and thoughtful, and provide a cot for children for free. Located in Montmartre, fifteen minutes walk from the Sacre Coeur Basilica. The Paris Strike Metro operates normally on Line 1, and stays for an average of ten kilometers a day for four days. When leaving, please ask the hotel to help you book a drop-off. The taxi driver's brother is also very caring. The traffic jam in the city is serious and it drove for more than an hour.

1. Breakfast 13 euros per person, we have no choice, we had to choose a nearby supermarket to solve the problem. 2. No extra bed, the bed is still very soft, the facilities in the room are slightly backward, there is only one plug, but since we have a converter + plug strip, it has no effect. 3. No hair dryer, but you can get it at the front desk. 4. The hotel location is still very suitable according to the subway station, very close to the brochant station. It only takes 15-20min to walk from the city center + subway. The price of more than three hundred nights we booked was indeed a good deal. 5. Parisians are very friendly. It has rained a lot recently. I thought that Paris would be better than Ge Ha, but it was not much better.
