Stunning hotel let down by surly, disinterested bar staff in the hotel lobby bar. No eye contact so gave up trying to get a second drink after 10 mins. Not the standards you expect from a 5 star hotel . Perhaps it’s different if you’re an actual resident and accessing the rooftop bar but surely all the staff should be trained to a high standard. It’s a shame as it has put me off staying .

We went for a cocktail at the front of the hotel, which was a lovely setting to watch the world go by. We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the serving staff. We waited 23 minutes before we managed to attract a member of staff who took our drinks order. The drinks came within 5 minutes so no complaint there but a simple smile and some courtesy should be expecred from a 5 star hotel. In the hour we were there, not one member of staff came to see if we were okay or if we needed some more drinks, where is the service? We have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and service is the key aspect to ensuring that your Customers keep returning. The staff serving the bar and the street area need some basic training to raise the standards to the level expected. We have stayed at the Esplendido at Soller and the Portixol in Palma and the service at both were exceptional. To the general manager of Hotel Cappucino........recruit and train some courteous and efficient staff who will reflect your claim as a 5 star hotel.

Absolutely stunning hotel in Palma centre. Check in was smooth & easy Rooms are stunning, perfectly decorated with little extras Breakfast was outstanding Roof top pool is nice, small, but not busy. Stunning location in Palma centre We loved our stay here, my only 1 issue was the hotel vacuuming at 7am in the centre, which echoed all over & woke us up!

A relatively new hotel in the centre of Mallorca. We didn't enquire about the room prices but a wander around the ground floor confirmed that it is towards the luxury end of the hotels in Palma. Food and drinks out in the square were served quickly and were excellent as you would expect, we would love to stay here, but think it is beyond out retirement budget.

The rooms are very nice, full of character and clean. Rooftop pool is small but pleasant. Our rooms were not ready despite of arriving at the check-in time. Had to wait for an hour to move in and was not informed when it eventually was ready. If I didn’t ask after waiting for exactly an hour I could have waited much longer. Reception staff (shift at 15.00 on 3rd Aug 2024) didn’t perform well.

A let down for a honeymoon. Can't recommend as it was not even acknowledged despite them knowing. Not even a welcome drink upon arrival. Not very 5*. Most things are too much trouble if you're a hotel guest. Room 45 was pleasant enough but very overlooked. No WC on restaurant level. Leaking roof in breakfast area. Great food but getting served takes a while. Excellent food and beverages. Won't return as a hotel guest as there are better actual 5*s that are guest focused. Cappuccino should stay as a restaurant chain.

We only had lunch here as it's a great spot to relax over a few drinks and share a pizza of which was delicious. The staff here are very efficient and friendly and the location is great for watching the busy streets around you, it can get very busy.

Buzzy location in the middle of Palma. Nice variety on the menu but not exceptional flavors. Service a bit slow. A bit pricey for what we had but I’m guessing thats because we were in a city restaurant. Great location if you want to watch the world go by.

My wife wanted to stay in Palma city so chose the Hotel Cappuccino.This coincided with our joint birthday celebration July 4th .From the moment we arrived at our Hotel destination we were met by the concierge who were enthusiastic ,smiley and knowledgeable.We was early to get our room but were invited to take a table outside to admire the courtyard view and have a complimentary drink while they got our room ready.It was probably only 3/4 of an hour before we were being led to the room were our cases were waiting for us .Quickly unpacking we went down to reception and enquired about the area Maria gave us a map and marked out areas of interest.She was always smiling and asking how we were enjoying ourselves and if she could help she did .The breakfast was to die for with a great choice of fattening or healthy options.We enjoyed our Four days there tremendously.The rooms were spacious and the cleaning of them second to none .

Perfect hotel for a girls weekend away. The location was ideal, the staff were friendly, the lunch (and complimentary arrival drink) was good, the breakfast was excellent (especially the porridge). Drinks outside before heading off to dinner were just lovely, beautiful spot to watch the city go by! Knocked one star off because not all bedrooms are equal. Some have baths, some double sinks etc. All part of the charm but I had one of the smaller ones! Also, the pool is tiny and there are only 10 loungers but once you know that you can plan for it… also to be expected in a city hotel.

We went with our golfgroup 4 days to Palma and played on 3 different golf cources.We booked in this hotel 16 rooms for 3 nights . Beautiful hotel, super and central location on the island , nice rooms , friendly and good friendly service and delicious food!! I can really recommend this hotel to everyone!!

We had a golf trip with 16 friends staying at Hotel Cappuccino. What a great hotel, super location, friendly staff, nice rooms, really only good things to say about this cozy place in Center of Palma. We can only highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Palma

Wasn’t staying at the hotel but went for breakfast and it was a disaster. Beautiful location and property. Rude staff and very poor food. Had to send it back twice. I am not sure how you can get a cooked breakfast so wrong, broken egg, swimming in oil, cold food, no cutlery. It looks so nice on the website so I was expecting good things. No apology, no have a good day, just very poor hospitality. They need to up their game.

My mother and I went twice to Hotel Cappuccino on a recent trip to Palma. Once we had a Margarita and a Rose on the outside terrace, which was lovely actually and once we went for lunch. We sat inside in the inner courtyard for lunch which was pretty and the little fountain water feature ws cute and relaxing. The service was absolutely fine, but unfortunately we had 2 salads, both of which had salt all over the whole thing. Such a shame as they would have been nice otherwise. Who puts that much salt on salad leaves?? If at all! We did tell the waiter who said he would tell the chef, but no money ws discounted from the bill even though the salads were barely touched.
