We took the recommendation of friends to stay at this hotel whilst visiting Palma for the first time and were not disappointed. From the minute we were greeted by friendly, courteous, attentive staff, we were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring all the main sites and wandering the maze of old town streets, being on a quiet street just off the busy thoroughfares. Breakfasts are among the best we have eaten anywhere worldwide, with a plethora of perfectly ripe exotic fruits and juices and a mouth watering array of the very best Spanish patisserie as well as items perfectly cooked to order. Served in the Marc Fosh restaurant dining room on the ground floor, it's a lovely airy space. Dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant is a must during any stay; the cooking was by far the best we came across in Palma. We had a duplex room facing the street, which remained cool through the heat of the day. Building renovation work opposite did mean some noise in the mornings, but the hotel couldn't be faulted for that. Otherwise, the bar was a cooly hip space for a pre- dinner drink and the roof terrace provided a relaxing space to read or sunbathe on loungers or seating, sip a drink and watch the masses of swifts cartwheel overhead. Bliss! We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to re- book for any future visit to such a delightful city.
