Family-friendly Hotels in Palma de Mallorca

Let’s talk about the dissatisfaction first. Due to my negligence at the time, I only filled out a check-in when two people checked in to book a room. After that, there was no notification the next day that an additional fee of 30 euros per night would be charged. I felt a little dissatisfied with the additional charge. The premise is OK. When I checked in, I was told that I had no objection at all. It was annoying to tell me the next day. Secondly, the hotel facilities are a bit old, but after all, they are there for how many years they have been in business. Besides, the advantages are that the restaurant is good. Mallorca is actually quite big. The hotel is an hour's drive from attractions such as the Jelly Sea. Looking left and right, the toiletries are all from Bvlgari. However, considering that the room price is around 1,500 per night in the off-season, it cannot be said to be cost-effective.

Mallorca was by far our favorite of the five cities we visited throughout Spain, and that was due in large part to the service provided by the hotel's amazing concierge, Sergio.  His warm and friendly demeanor, excellent customer service, thoughtful food and sight-seeing recommendations and generous hospitality made our stay truly outstanding.  The spa ammenities were also pretty awesome, too.

It is a hotel converted from a private residence. In an alley in the city center, take a break from the noise. The service staff is very enthusiastic. There is a small roof, surrounded by houses, can't see the scenery, and of course I can't see the sea. The room is too small, the corridor is small, the elevator, lobby, and restaurant are small. There are few varieties of breakfast. The drying rack is very good, and the wet clothes are dried in an hour. The USB interface has 4 ports, 2 sockets, plus boiling water and 2 sockets for the computer can also be plugged in, and there are 4 sockets. There is a free spa, not going. In general, there is a large distance from the usual five-star standard.

Lovely boutique hotel with first class staff who were helpful and friendly. Reception staff organised at short notice a fabulous boat trip. So delighted housekeeping staff found my earrings which I accidentally left in bathroom area. Highly recommend location and overall high standard of guest experience.

Beautiful boutique hotel, very clean and well appointed. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Ideally locate in the old town. We stayed in a double deluxe room in order to be able to have the option of twin beds as it was a mother and daughter trip. Lovely Mollton Brown products in the bathroom, Illy coffee machine in the room and a kettle upon request so we could make tea. Minibar very well stocked. We enjoyed a nice glass of cava as a welcome drink. Continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful with the option of scrambled eggs. Would stay again if in Palma.

The hotel room was great, the staff impeccable, just the small problem that can surprise you is that we had a booking tax of €8 and a bit, except that on the site where we booked and paid for the room online, at no time did they warn us that there would be a tax (knowing that we only slept one night, the price of which is not exorbitant either) so be careful not to get ripped off, especially if you were going to stay for a long time, the taxes will surely increase...

A very dignified and beautiful hotel in the old town of Palma. Check in was quick and friendly. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The fairly high price is definitely justified given this location and amenities. The rooftop pool alone is more of a standing pool and not suitable for swimming.

One of the highlights of my stay at Can Bordoy Hotel was the stunning courtyard. This hidden oasis is a tranquil retreat from the bustling city, with lush greenery, comfortable seating, and a beautiful swimming pool. It's the perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy a glass of wine, or simply take in the peaceful ambiance. Another standout feature of Can Bordoy Hotel is its gastronomic offerings. The hotel's restaurant, Botànic, offers a culinary journey that showcases the best of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, and the wine selection is extensive. I also loved the breakfast, which featured a delightful spread of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties. The location of Can Bordoy Hotel is also a major plus. It's situated in Palma de Mallorca's historic Old Town, just a short walk from iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Overall, my experience at Can Bordoy Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its historic charm, impeccable service, outstanding gastronomy, and prime location made it a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and indulgent experience in Palma de Mallorca. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at Can Bordoy Hotel.

Would have no hesitation recommending this amazing hotel in centre of Palma. Very quiet and peaceful in the hotel and on the rooftop pool area. Spa area small but soothing and stocked with soft drinks teas etc and was booked for exclusive use. Additional massage was possibly best ever. Marc Fosh restaurant tasting menu is exquisitely prepared with some unusual but beautiful paired wines. Best of all though were the staff. Joan and his colleagues could not have been friendlier or more attentive and nothing seemed to faze them. So knowledgeable of local things to do. The extra touches they provided to help us celebrate our 40th anniversary were very much appreciated. We will come back to Mallorca to try the other hotels in this group to see if they can match the high standards set here.

Our second visit to Can Cera, and it was even better than we remembered. Off the busy streets of Palma, Can Cera is instantly calming. With gorgeous interiors, architecture and history you could spend hours sitting in each room just soaking up the atmosphere and charm. Wonderful food (lunch, breakfast and dinner) with a wonderful menu offering great variety and traditional Mallorcan dishes. Also great with accommodating allergies. We have stayed in both the deluxe and premium rooms and they are faultless. Beautiful, relaxing spaces that really make you feel like you’re at home. The facilities such as the spa is truly lovely and the boutique style of the hotel makes for a truly intimate and charming experience. The staff are absolutely fabulous. Kind, welcoming and attentive. If the hotel could be 6* it should be!! We are already planning our next trip back… thank you so much for the wonderful memories. Georgina and Olly xxx
