⸻ Extremely Disappointing First Experience – We Almost Checked Out Immediately Our first evening at this property was extremely disappointing, and sadly, it set a terrible tone for our stay. We were advised by a staff member, Larry, at around 5:00 PM to pre-order our dinner for 7:15 PM to avoid delays. We followed his advice exactly. However, when 7:15 PM came, there was no dinner in sight. We waited patiently, but it was only served around 7:45 PM—30 minutes late. By that time, my elderly mother was already ravenous and upset. We had to resort to eating crackers we brought with us—something even our nurses suggested, as they too were famished. This was absolutely unacceptable, especially considering we had taken the proactive step of pre-ordering. To make matters worse, when I followed up via WhatsApp and later by phone, I was told by the front desk that the late dinner was because I had requested it that way. This was both untrue and offensive—it felt like a blatant attempt to shift blame rather than take responsibility. The situation was so upsetting that my mother insisted we leave and transfer to Club Agutaya, another resort we had considered. Frankly, we almost did. This experience left such a bad impression that I’m now seriously reconsidering staying here any longer. I’m sharing this review so future guests can be aware of what we went through. A resort experience should never start this way.
