Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value

The hotel's location is excellent, and the decor is very tasteful. Rooms are accessed via keypad locks, which is quite convenient. We stayed on the top floor, which had an attic-like feel. However, the sound insulation was very poor. The wall behind the head of our bed bordered another room's bathroom, and we could clearly hear loud noises from the shower, sink, and toilet flushing. As a result, I hardly got any sleep all night. I'm not typically sensitive to noise, but these plumbing sounds were genuinely too loud. The bathroom also seemed to lack proper ventilation, and its cleanliness could have been improved.

Fantastic place for a quiet stay within a 25-minute walk of Oxford city centre. The accommodation is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making it a truly relaxing retreat. We had to be up early in the morning, but the location was very quiet. Mandy who assisted us with check in was incredibly professional and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. Highly recommend this gem.

We loved staying at the Mad hatter. The location is only 10-15 mins from the city centre, staff was ever so helpful, and the room is very atmospheric, it felt incredibly lush without being over the top and tacky. The room was very clean and felt brand new. Only downside is the karaoke bar downstairs, but they kindly provide earplugs and anyway it stops early. We would definitely book it again.

It is a small family hotel, very common in the UK too! The host was very enthusiastic and helped us to book a taxi from the hotel to London Heathrow Airport. The price is much cheaper than when the taxi came from the airport!

AAngieANo coordination between Trips and the hotel on check in procedure. Hotel failed to notify guest on need to have check in code and the staff on call during the day couldn’t even differentiate between a hyphen and a dash and kept giving the wrong code. Very frustrating. Also the doors are too loud and noisy when they close can almost feel the shakes in my room 1.

Check in was easy once I got the details. The room had everything you need - fridge, iron, microwave, desk, chair. Bathroom was super small though.

GGuest UserTransportation is completed. You can walk to Oxford Center. It takes about 20 minutes to walk. It is very convenient along the way. The happiest thing is that there are three or four Chinese restaurants next to it to eat delicious food. There is also a shopping supermarket Taco. It is very convenient for the house to be old but newly renovated.

GGuest UserThe house has a relatively large backyard, which can park several cars. Since we rented a car and drove around the UK, we had to find a yard where we could park. It is close to Oxford University and you can walk there. The surrounding environment is very quiet and the room is very clean. We are a family of three and three beds are very convenient.
