We stayed in a four person room and the room was large, clean, bright and the beds were super comfortable with the biggest pillows I have ever seen. The beach chairs and robes were a great added extra along with the fridge and coffee machine. Breakfast had a great selection including gluten free bread and cereals, and parking was right outside. The only slight negative was the heat in the room whilst we were there as there was no air conditioning, but I completely understand why in such a stunning building. It was very hot overnight even with the windows wide open to let in some sea air. However they had also provided thin waffle blankets which were much better than the duvet in the heat. Beach, views and location were great. Also staff spoke excellent English.

Hotel Andromeda is an excellent opportunity for an enjoyable stay. We liked the luxe room with view on the sea and terrasse on the very top. The breakfast is gorgeous. The wellness center is absolutely great, with exception of the harman as the temperature is not high enough. The personnel acted great and was responsive. The overall atmosphere is fantastic.

This place is a summer resort in Belgium with an oversized casino next to it. The hotel breakfast is very good, the rooms are small, and the hotel as a whole is small and very warm. The hotel does not have a parking lot. There are parking spaces in front of the door and in the small street next to it. There is a parking fee. The fee is not paid from 20:00 to 9:00 the next day.

The reception staff at the hotel were very warm and friendly and took the initiative to introduce me to where there was a fitness center and swimming pool, restaurant, beach, etc.
There is a spinach center on the first floor of the hotel. There is a restaurant in it.

GGuest UserThe hotel reception was nice when we came to do check-in. Always there with a smile. We got a family room on the fourth floor. It might look ok but the only thing is that the lift is very small and we had to look how we got in with all our luggages. If you are a little sporty, put your luggage in the lift, press the right floor number of your room, and go the stairs up. The room itself does serve its purpose and has the things needed: coffee machine, hair dryer, enough pillows (a little to hard in my opinion) , a phone to call the reception. Outside view of our room (410) was not so interesting as it showed up in the inner court to the other rooms. Our room was a little bit too warm and we couldn't lower the temperature as the button for climatisation was somehow off. Shower and toilets are ok and the room was clean. Breakfast was ok but, in my opinion, the quality has decreased since we were there in 2019. The quality of the meat was somehow industrial and the bacon was not so good. My wife said she missed more cheese kinds, vegetables and fruits.

GGuest UserThe hotel is perfectly situated close to the beach, restaurants and bars. It’s one stop on the tram from the railway station with the stop directly opposite the hotel. I booked direct and couldn’t have been more pleased how easy it was as I required two twin rooms. We stayed five nights and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable although a little dated, the bar was comfortable and relaxing and every member of staff was very friendly and professional. The price included breakfast which was one of the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in awhile. Thank you for great stay.

So there are a lot of ”horror-reviews” about this place and after staying for two nights I can somehow see where it comes from but I still think most of the criticism is WAY too harsh. I went there for the time of two Rammstein-shows and it was okay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, my room got cleaned every day after I left and the kind of ”secret” parking which is a bit narrow, so not for beginners, was a nice safety factor. I did have a weird dark spot on my blanket but upon inspection I figured it was basically just a discoloured spot in the fabric itself - obviously doesn't look nice, but was definitely not a hygienical concern; just a case of ”sheets that have been around a bit too long”; still everything got cleaned and washed every morning; I did see the cleaning staff in action every morning. I didn't expect to stay in a super extra luxury hotel, but a nice little accomodation in the city center to get to my shows and then have a few nice beers at the end before returning - and I got exactly that. The hotel IS kind of noisy, as the building itself seems to be rather old, so the walls are kind of thin, be prepared for that. But other than that, it really is by far not as bad as some drama queens on here describe it. I had a nice time in Oostende and the staff was super nice and helpful. Is it a family hotel? Probably not. Is it okay if you're staying alone or with a group of adults and are planing to have some fun in the city? Definitely.
