Umeda
The location is quite good. Next to the Umeda Sky Building so it’s easy to find. However it’s a 5-10 min walk to the big department store, but the walk is okay. There is a shuttle bus service which makes it very nice also. The room is quite big and of course everything was nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing! I love the hotel and would stay again!

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
Overall evaluation: I booked the hotel after reading the reviews on Ctrip. The hotel is in a very good location, right between Shinsaibashi and Umeda. If you are not tired, you can walk there. The office building where the hotel is located is very tall and grand. The price is not expensive, and it is cost-effective. However, there are the following problems: 1. The overall environment is very noisy. The hotel lobby is located on the 17th floor, like a big inn, full of guests waiting to check in and check out with luggage. The reception staff and arrangements are insufficient, and the experience is extremely poor. 2. Many waiters and drivers are of Indian descent. Compared with other Japanese hotels I stayed in, they have poor service awareness, stiff movements, and no intimacy. 3. The breakfast environment is good, but the food is very poor. The bread and pastries are extremely cheap factory goods. There are a lot of people eating, and the experience is very poor. 4. The hotel hygiene is average, and I didn't dare to go to the public bathroom.

Very spacious and clean room considering it’s 5 years old. Toilet can be a bit open for family/friends use, but otherwise the space is big enough. Bed was big and comfy. Lighting can be a little dim but it has a nice atmosphere. Plenty of storage cabinet, and the apple TV was a great addition. Service staff are generally friendly. The building is also nicely designed. Location is a short 10-15min walk to the main Osaka station so it’s quite convenient. Family mart is just a few steps at the corner so it’s good for those late night cravings.

Nakanoshima
This is an old school 1980s style 5 star hotel with many restaurants and some branded boutiques located in the building. Service staff are polite and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Rihga!
Hotel Hankyu International

Umeda
Not a very satisifed experience with Hankyu International. The hotel is located in a business building for about 6 mins walking from the metro station of Nakatsu. You can find the Lawson and Familymart from north/south entrance of the building which is convenient. Here comes the cons: 1. The hotel does not provide body lotion, but strange enough, it provides 4 types of hair relatred treament liquid, how on earth a hotel provide 4 types of hair liquid but no body lotion. 2. Breakfast located in 25th floor, the skyview of Osaka is defenitely a hightlight but the food destroied everything. A 5-star hotel breakfast (cost 3900 Yan) serve you for: two eggs, two sasuage, 1 glass of juice and a small dish of salad and a bread, that's all. However the service looks like a sort of art performance, but they can never make it correct. I stayed for 3 nights and all 3 breakfast can not served as requested. By the way, if you'd like to have more eggs, an extra egg dish will cost 1100 Yan. 3. The hotel seems has no standard for late check-out. I asked for a late check-out for 60 mins, the reception pull a paper and write down a 3,000 indicates for extra charge. I begged if I can have a 30 mins late check out the reception shake his had and point the 3,000 number again, then a manager-like girl slowly walked to his said and give him a very slight gesture then suddenly the guy says ok. Not decent at all. Funny enough, while I was packing my stuff in the room at about 12:10, the phone rings and says I have to check out at 12 PM otherwise there will be extra charge. Question mark? 4. Although the hotel named itself as ”International”, it turns out very they can barely speak English. 5. Swinmming pool rquires for extra charge! Trip.com should consider this hotel as No swming pool! It's actually in the business building, not in the hotel!

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
The most satisfying hotel I have stayed in recently. There is nothing to complain about in terms of hardware and service details. Every staff member in the sabo lounge provides meticulous service, and the breakfast lunch box is also very rich. When I checked out, they specially helped to bring my luggage to the door, which touched me very much. The breakfast in the lobby restaurant has new ideas every day, and the quality of the à la carte dishes can be compared with Michelin restaurants. I especially like Lana, who is friendly and professional. It turns out that even the coffee beans and tea for breakfast are carefully selected. It really started to check the time of the next check-in the moment I checked out.
