The room is very small, you don't have a place to put your luggage. Carpet needs to be cleaned. Breakfast is not good. They serve same breakfast everyday. My husband and I stayed here for four days and I purchased breakfast when I made reservation, unfortunately, they are not refundable. Train station and subway is only 5 minutes walk is a plus.

There are conviniece store, drug store, Starbucks and several restaurants closley near the hotel, which means perfect location. We can walk to Osaka staion and along the river, there are beautiful restaurant and coffee shop. Since there are not much of tourist, it was quite to have a nice sleep. The room is small as much as other Japanese hotels but, clean and convertable compared to its room fee. People in front desk were very kind and nice. If I have a chance to travel Osaka again, I will stay here. :)

Location is near to station. Rooms are clean but small. Staff was strict and not flexible. We wanted to eat a MacDonald burger at the lobby sitting area after we checked out, but was told that we cannot eat there. And for some reason the breakfast area was not opened too. So we eat outside at the entrance of the hotel before we go to train station with our luggages.

This is our fourth time staying at Monterey Le Frere and still everything was up to our expectations. The only drawback was that the rinsing cup in the toilet was not cleaned properly and also the public bath had a smell to it, but the daily customers they served daily is of high capacity so may have overlooked a little and still acceptable. The breakfast was fantastic as usual and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would certainly recommend to any one coming in town.

The location is good. Breakfast is unbeatable. Staff are professional. The drawback is about the room facilities. The TV is big which is good. The water tap didn't have sufficient pressure so the water flow was very very slow. The air con is blowing over my face so I have to switch by head to the end of the bed to escape from the air blow. The toilet is separated from the bath but there is NOTHING inside the bathroom to hang my clothes!!! We are just friends and can't just walk out nake to put on my clothes....There is also not enough racks to hang towels for TWO people......The toilet side seems to have no ventilation!!

This made my travels incredibly convenient. One of the best features of this hotel is its proximity to Mega Don Quijote, just a short walk away. It’s perfect for picking up snacks, souvenirs, or anything else you might need. Additionally, the surrounding alleyways are lined with various snack shops, giving you plenty of options to explore local treats especially takoyaki and okonomiyaki. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the receptionist spoke great English and was helpful and friendly. The room is modern and quite spacious compared to hotels in Tokyo.

Location: very near to the metro and a supermarket inside Kuromon Market. You can get most of the groceries including fresh sushi there. Service: superb, the staffs are friendly and polite. My fridge in my room spoiled at 12 am and the staff replaced it with a new one after 20 minutes! Amenities: the hotel provides most of amenities except body cream, but you can get it from *****tore nearby. Love their hair dryer and showerhead 🤩 Price: Most of the affordable I could find in that area! Summary: will definitely come back here if I am in Osaka

The triple room has a kitchen. You can buy ingredients from the nearby Kuromon Nakagawa Fresh Food Store and take care of yourself at the hotel. Although there is a range hood, the room will still smell. It is recommended to add an air purifier. In the evening, there are late-night snacks on the next street, so you won’t be hungry. In addition, there is the famous Yufeng Eel Rice on the corner. You can get up early to be the first batch at 9 o’clock.
