Minta Apartments

My husband and I visited for 18 days in September. Arrived later than scheduled (2.00am) but Ali the owner was there to greet us, with a smile and a cool beer! Apartments are very clean and a good size. Ali and his whole family made us feel very welcome. The food we tried was excellent, prices good. Minta apartments are approx 15 minutes stroll to the town and have beautiful views from the balconies. Ali also owns twin villas (a 3 bed and a 5 bed) to rent, a few minutes away from Minta, he kindly showed them to us before we left and they are lovely, so much so, we have booked to stay in the 3 bed one for 2 weeks in June next year. Looking forward to returning to beautiful Dalyan and seeing Ali and his family again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Sarigerme
We booked this hotel for a last minute getaway. They request that you contact them the day before check-in as reception isn’t always manned . We struggled to contact them as their details online were not up to date . Needn’t have worried though as we were greeted on arrival in the early hours . Hotel was perfect for us, friendly owner & staff , great service , fantastic position as all shops/restaurants etc were a 2 minute walk . We also had the pool to ourselves for 8 days !!! Continental breakfast everyday which is served until 11am . The hotel owner is Turkish and communication wasn’t a problem as we used the translate app. Very accommodating Hotel , we had a great time & will definitely go back ! I would have rated cleanliness as 5 star as the communal areas were spotless but our room was only cleaned once during our stay . Not a problem for us but could be if you are travelling as a family
Portakal Hotel Dalyan

Portakal Hotel, is just a very lovely place to arrive when you you go on holiday. As soon as you arrive the reception people are very helpful, they take your cases to your room and show you around the site. At the bar the barmen are so friendly and welcoming (congratulations on the baby). Everyone was so charming, from the cooks to the cleaners, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend completely. Book a tour through reception. Make sure you take insect repellent but even the bites did not make our stay any less, one of the nicest places in Dalyan <3

Grand KOSE AIRPORT Hotel

We were taken to this hotel after our flight was cancelled due to a technical problem onboard the aircraft which they were unable to remedy to enable us to fly, the hotel looks fairly new from the outside although I’m unsure if the hotel is new or refurbished. On arrival we all descended on the check in desk, the guy on duty did well to quickly handle and try and get everyone issued with a room especially since this was about four in the morning when we arrived. The room that we were allocated was number 108 which on first appearance was relatively small however clean and tidy, what did puzzle me slightly was what appeared to be a piece of metal rebar on the main wall which had just been left and painted over 😂 . Again as I’ve said previously I’m unsure if the hotel is new or refurbished , as in the bathroom there was no shower curtain so we couldn’t put the shower on full force otherwise the whole of the bathroom floor would have been soaked. Level one where we had our room is where breakfast is provided, and whether I wanted to sleep more than the three hours i managed or not there was very little chance because of the noise from the very basic kitchen area. Breakfast was very very basic and consisted of one cereal of some sort 🤷‍♂️ , boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, a Turkish savoury pastry, what I think was pate of some sort and bread and jam. Quite a number of the part from our flight opted to go to one of the local shops next door , and purchased some to eat from there. As I didn’t really check out the grounds or other facilities in the hotel, I cannot comment any further, as it was a means to and end after spending almost 10 hours in an airport between waiting to board, sitting on an aircraft for two hours before deplaning retrieving our luggage etc and being bussed to the hotel.
