The room was very clean, towels were better than fair quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided in pump bottles for convenience. We had a king sweet, the room was very spacious, enough for us to dance, have Christmas w our grandchildren and play w them on the floor. The pool is very clean, the breakfast buffet is amazing and best of all the staff are All friendly, helpful, accommodating and professional. We mostly had the pleasure of working with Annie who is just the best! Seriously, she's amazing. If you are looking for comfort, accommodations and cleanliness this is the hotel to stay in. They made us feel at right at home!

I was having a hard time when I first arrived. I had a personal situation arise and I was just really down. The staff was really welcoming and the energy was inviting. I spent a lot of time alone. But as I came out to get fresh air and got to see other guests, it made me interact more and more. There’s no strays here. No one that doesn’t belong. Seems like everywhere you go has solicitors these days, but you can’t find one person out of place here. I’ve now been here for 2 months, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I’ve been so comfortable I’ve barely even looked for another place. It’s become my home away from home. No place is perfect, but they work hard here to consider the comfortability of us, the guests. No matter if you’re here for a few days, or a few months. I never have to give anyone my room number or name, because the staff, especially Daniel and KB, work hard to make sure they know you and your preference. It’s great to be considered, or thought of. They do a great job of interacting with guests in a professional yet homely manner.. It’s definitely a great place to stay whether it’s short or long term, but definitely recommended if it’s long term! The pricing for the quality of the room is really great! During the summer and during the off months. All in all, I really love it here!

Very clean and modern, it is the same standard if not slightly better than other more expensive hotels such as Quality Inns/Holiday Inns… the only bad thing is that I found a cockroach in the room on our 4th day and let it outside. Internet is unsecured, walls are kinda thin but not bad, and elevator wasn’t working when we were there but that will be fixed soon. Overall it’s a great place to stay for so cheap!!! Clean rooms, clean building, amazing staff.

EXCELLENT place to stay. Very professional, friendly and courteous associates work here. They straighten up your room every day (not sure if they clean it every day or not), freshen up the bed, give you more towels, take the trash out of your room--just overall a great place to stay. They CARE about you as a guest and treat you as if you were family. We would gladly stay here again if we're in the area.
The stay was ok, we really enjoyed how close we was to the beach. We didnt eat breakfast, it was so crowded. I didnt even want to attempt it. I only had two problems, wasn't really problems. But it could've been better. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready. It was supposed to be ready by 4. And we had to wait, even after waiting, it still wasnt ready. So the front desk lady put us in a new room. So that was fine! And also, i had to sweep the bathroom and ask for my towels. Due to covid, the room couldnt be cleaned. And when you go to the beach 2 days in a row, sand and stuff was all in the bathroom. I didnt mind at all sweeping it myself. But it was very limited on what the house keepers could do. Other then that, it wasn't bad. It wasn't loud, kinda crowded. But not bad. I would stay again.

To whom it may concern. I work with the Major Country Concert Headlining Joe Nichols that is coming to Swansboro on Friday August 9th 2024. I would advise anyone considering booking lodging here to take your business elsewhere. I met with the Director of Sales “Kelley Brown” to discuss lodging sponsorship for Joe Nichols and his Team. This is a very standard and routine way of securing lodging in the Entertainment Industry for all High Profile Individuals that tour. Ms. Kelley Brown immediately responded with a very condescending and snarky demeanor in regards to Joe Nichols when I informed her that the concert would have 5,000+ attendees. She very literally cut me off with a chuckle as if it were a joke and condescendingly informed me that she and the General Manager “Cassie Madison” had discussed the sponsorship offer and that Joe Nichols was not worth trading $2,000 worth of sponsorship for rooms. I was very confused with Ms. Kelley Brown’s tone and demeanor. I asked her why she was being sarcastic and rude about the Joe Nichols event. To which she slightly giggled and replied that she wasn’t. I then informed her that we would not be partnering with them for sponsorship for Joe Nichols or for any of the other Major Artists we will be bringing to Swansboro for concerts in the very near future. I have worked in the Music & Film Entertainment Industries for 15 years and have booked thousands of rooms for high profile entertainers. I have never once encountered the level of condescending unprofessionalism I encountered at this Hampton Location. I’ve never once had to post a bad review or complaint on any Hotel ever. I even considered not posting this review but I wanted to inform anyone it may matter to not to book lodging with them. Sincerely Evan Vilardo Owner/Founder Crystal Coast Fest
After an incredibly horrific stay at the nearby Suburban Extended Stay hotel, we decided to change to the Courtyard Marriott. As soon as we walked into the lobby we were greeted by Emma at the front desk. She was absolutely wonderful as we explained that we were hoping to check in early (it was almost 1 pm) because we checked out of our previous hotel due to the horrendous condition of the room there. She immediately called Housekeeping to see if our room was ready. We took a short trip to the grocery store next door and upon our return, Emma told us our room was ready and even gave ! I felt very appreciated as a Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Member and also was very happy to see my request for extra pillows and towels was also fulfilled. The only small negative thing was that there were only 2 lounge chairs by the pool and some of the tiles had fallen off the edge of the pool. Other than that, our stay was great.
AAmbassador272933Over this past year, I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel while traveling for business for one week a month. From my very first day back in April 2024, Kimmie was exceptional. On the first day that I arrived, I explained that I was working for a local hospital. When Kimmie realized I was working night shift, she moved my room to the top floor to avoid any unnecessary noise. In further conversation I was explaining how nervous I was that this was my first trip away from home and my family including a small child and my pets and she made everything so relaxed that I referred to her as ”Mom”. The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and a clean King bed. The only thing missing was a smart TV to be able to watch or stream my favorite Networks. They even have electric cooktops, upon request. I had one waiting in my room each stay, compliments of Kimmie, when she learned that i preferred to cook my own meals rather than eat out every day. I returned to stay there every month for a week's stay over the course of the next 6 months. I was able to meet most of the staff and must include Paula on this review as well. She was also exceptional. When I learned that she was a transplant to the region from my hometown, of all places, we had lots to talk about. The breakfast bar served an adequate amount of healthy and non-healthy choices and I was very well pleased. I think the most important employee to me, however, was Sir Willie. I met Willie on my first trip. He is a super friendly feline employee! Needless to say, cat treats became part of my grocery list moving forward.i looked forward to seeing Willoe when I returned home in the morning and then again saying goodbye when I left for work in the evening. My very last trip was this month. I arrived at 11:00 p.m. and was feeling quite sad because 2 hours before I hopped on my plane I had to put my own cat to sleep. When I arrived in the parking lot and opened my door the first greeter was Willie. I picked him up and he began to purr immediately. It was truly comforting! I absolutely love that this hotel allows him to come inside the lobby and mingle with the guests as well. What saddened me the most was the morning that I had left, I was running late and was about to miss my plane, and I ran right past Willie and his girlfriend the black cat. It's still bothers me to this day that I did not hand him a few treats or bend down and take a moment to pet him. He was a comfort to me for the last 6 months. I did leave a bag of treats with Paula at the front desk, so Willie....ENJOY, but don't forget to share with your new friend!
GGuest UserThe front desk service was awesome! The house keeping Supervisior was a little grumpy when we told her that we had need a couch switch because when we pulled the couch out to sleep on it the mattress was solid with some that looks like to be old blood and the couch never got switch our entires stay. This made the room felt so gross. I ask to speak with the manager to get a room change since we could not get a couch change and that was denied as well! So I demand and refund and that was denied too!!!! I will not recommend no one to stay at this place because this experience was far by the worst ever. The part that I am so mad about is no one try to make any of the errors right. This is not the way I remember the Marriott to be !
I absolutely love this place. This is my second time staying with these folks and it’s like a family reunion. The breakfast is awesome and the staff goes out of their way to help and make you feel important. I’ll never stay anywhere else in Jacksonville again. They had a guest barbecue while I was there and my husband and I had so much fun. Southern hospitality for sure!
Great newer room. Awesome service and breakfast fast and friendly and reliable front desk plus movie channels newer bed extremely comfortable and classy this was a couple getaway for the night and well worth it I’d highly recommend this to other couples it’s quiet and easily accessible from multiple entry points
