Last night in beautiful Ireland after driving all around for a week. Very friendly staff and enjoyed nice dinner down the street at the Brewery Tap down the street. About an hour and half from Dublin airport which helped us in morning especially with their easy access parking.

Lovely quiet room, although hotel was very busy, great selection of restaurants… breakfast staff very helpful, kind and actually smiled… which is a rare occurrence… reception staff couldn’t be more helpful and the leisure staff very professional…

This hotel was very very good and worth the money , rooms very comfortable and clean best of all the water was always hot which fails in other hotels . Breakfast was great and there is everything there if needed . The bar downstairs and lounge are great and very homely , you could always get a late night drink which is always a bonus . Checking in very efficient we got there early as we traveled over night so we had a coffee while they got a room ready for us. The staff at this hotel are amazing and friendly from reception to the house keeping they can’t do enough for you . Well worth a visit.

We went for lunch in the carvery today and I must say the selection and quality of food was above and beyond. what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the lady chef I believe her name was Celia. Not only was she kind, but she also went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my elderly father, making sure we had everything we needed. And a big thank you to the two friendly girls at the desert station and till, who added to the overall delightful experience. For a top-tier carvery experience with delicious food and excellent service, look no further than the bridge house. From start to finish, every bite was a delight, and every interaction was filled with warmth and hospitality.

We had a one night stay at Bridge House The front receptionist was very welcoming and informative. Cash acceptable. Room very comfortable plenty of hot water, towels pillows, tea making facilities, bright and clean. Perfect. Breakfast had good choice , hot food served to you. All staff very courteous and attentive. Excellent, overall a very pleasant stay we will be back.

Myself and my husband are just back from a 2 night stay. It's a lovely hotel with nice cosy bars and foyer spaces. As we are vegan, I looked up the options online and also asserted same when booking. We picked this hotel because there was an Italian Restaurant and Char Bistro and we got dining credit as part of our deal. The first night we went to the Italian Restaurant. We were handed a menu with 2 courses on it and no vegan options. When we enquired I was waiting for the a la carte menu but the waitress just verbally told us soup or garlic bread to start and ravioli for mains, so no choice on the mains. Imagine if meat eaters were treated the same way. We ordered the soup and reasserted that we were vegan and to make sure the bread was vegan. The soup came down with soda bread and butter. I told the server that we had asked the previous server for vegan bread. They came back with boring aerated gluten free bread and said they hadn't been told we wanted vegan. bread. A lot of staff confuse gluten free with vegan, which is infuriating and incorrect. The sliced white and brown bread at breakfast, for instance, is vegan. The soup was lovely, bread awful and made for a very stressful meal. The ravioli arrived. There was no veg etc do 2 bites in it was boring and samey. When we we to pay we were charged a staggering 32.85 for 2 courses, even though we hadn't ordered off that menu. Vegan breakfast the next day was lovely. I had asked for a nice room but room as my husband had just retired, 319 with a view of a derelict building and the constant sound of the extractor apparently was same!! The next evening we dined in Char Bistro. The menu was different than the one advertised online and there were not nearly as many vegan options. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I ordered fajitas which were gorgeous. It would have been great to have soya *****s with them. My husband ordered the tofu curry which was also gorgeous and he had apple fritter for dessert and I had berry sorbet, both lovely. Some things labelled vegan on the menu were not actually vegan and HD contains milk etc in the allergen list?!! This is a lovely hotel and Char Bistro was a much more positive experience than the italian a d our 25e each vouchers covered same. Vegan options really need to be clearly labelled and there ha to be more choice. There wasn't even a vegan breakfast listed. We has to get veggie without eggs. The addition of vegan sausages would be good too.

This hotel is beautiful, and is not over priced like most hotel are in Ireland at present. From the minute we arrived the staff on reception could not have been more welcoming, helpful as we had a select hotel voucher to use the girls on reception had helped me Saturday evening when I rang to ask could I use the voucher no hassle at all. We had just decided last minute to go stay overnight for Easter Sunday. We had dinner food was top class, music in the bar that night was great, beds are so so comfortable, no banging doors in the morning like most hotels lovely and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay outstanding. We can't wait to see you again in the future Anne & Darren

I have visited the bridge house hotel tullamore on a few occasions with my family and have been a member of the gym . Up until now I was very happy with everything, until today. I was there at 11.20am and was looking for an early lunch. The type of food I usually order was out on display. I asked if I could order this quiche and salad , but was told I couldn't have it as it was still breakfast time. I had to order a scone and tea and later go elsewhere for my proper lunch meal. It shouldn't matter what time it is . If the food is right infront of me I should be able to order it. A real shame as I had driven there especially 😕.
