Nestled in a picturesque location, the Tea Garden hotel offers a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While the amenities may be minimal, the breathtaking views and peaceful ambiance more than make up for it. And the staff are very friendly and available. Whether you're sipping tea on the terrace or taking a leisurely stroll through the lush gardens, every moment here feels like a rejuvenating escape. If you're seeking tranquility and natural beauty, the Tea Garden hotel is the perfect destination.

The location is a little far from the center of Nuwara Eliya, but you can walk to the lake. It's a cold place in Sri Lanka and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so I recommend wearing warm clothes. The breakfast was a simple English breakfast, but it was very delicious and the staff were nice. There are bugs in the rooms, so I recommend it for people who don't mind that much. The shower has hot water.

The service at the hotel is very good. The hotel staff prepared gingerbread and tea for us when we arrived. The room is very large, with two king-sized double beds, which is enough for a family of four. The room has a balcony facing the tea garden. The view is very good, and we can sit there. It was very comfortable to drink tea and chat. The hotel provided breakfast, which was prepared for us early in the morning. We were given two boxes of tea before leaving. Recommended

The hot water in the shower room is intermittent, there is no TV, no air conditioning, and luckily there are no mosquitoes. The boss's service was very good. Breakfast was ready at 5 o'clock. Because we were going to Horton Plains to watch the sunrise, and we happened to see the beautiful sunrise when we went to the mountains, the boss gave us two boxes of tea.

This hotel is a small B&B. I decided to book this hotel after reading reviews on several platforms. The main focus is on cost-effectiveness! It was already almost 9 o'clock in the evening. The temperature difference in Nuvo is so big that you need to wear long sleeves. Because there are clouds and fog all year round, the sheets and quilts are a bit damp (there is no air conditioner and cannot be dehumidified). However, I am also on the beach, so I can accept it. I stayed at the B&B at night Try not to go out after 10 o'clock and lock the door. Of course, if you want to go out, remember to lock the door when you come back. The next morning, I took photos at the B&B. The breakfast was still very exquisite. I decided with the boss the night before to have a delicious breakfast, and they would make it fresh for you the next day. After breakfast, I set off to the pink post office and tea factory to check in.

The upper family room is very spacious and has an attached private balcony overlooking a tea garden. You might have a bit of problem finding it since it is inside an alley of sorts. For your information it is a bungalow with rooms that can be booked. Only breakfast service no lunch or dinner so make sure to have a vehicle to go get food outside. But the breakfast is great and they offer both Sri-Lankan and English breakfasts. But they don’t have room slippers. They also have a huge assortment of books and Nat Geo magazines. Would recommend but not if you cannot tolerate flies.

The Tea Garden was a nice place to stay. It’s a building with 3 bedrooms that share a kitchen, dining and lounge area. The decor is lovely. Two bedrooms are downstairs and one large bedroom upstairs, which is where we stayed. Breakfast was nice, basic with yoghurt. Staff were super lovely and they have a nice garden. I was surprised given the prices that they do not service the room each day. The shower also seems to be on a very quick timer for the hot water (about 4 Minutes). Unfortunately during our stay we had another couple in the room downstairs and could hear them in the bathroom “hocking up” or making horrid throat noises, and the noise was really loud. They also slammed the doors a lot and we’re not considerate of us at all It’s not the accommodations fault but something to keep in mind when you’re staring a space. There is also a mosque directly opposite that does prayer time from 45 minutes at 6am and 6pm on a loud speaker. Overall a nice stay. But not as quiet as we hoped it would be and this place cost double what we were paying a cross the country and didn’t meet our expectations of serenity based on previous reviews.
