The room is average, old. The room alone is not worth 1700. There is no need to spend money to stay here, you can walk in to the bar, Thai restaurant, Indian restaurant, afternoon tea, and you can pay with cash or credit card. You can enter all places by punching in. Many people come here to punch in and eat and then stay in other hotels. I think the hill club next door is a good substitute, they are all old houses anyway. Save 1000 yuan and do anything you want, rich people can do whatever they want. The black people here are completely different from the Chinese and white people. When white people check in, they will take you on a hotel tour and introduce you. The black person who took us to the room had a cold face the whole time, and of course I wouldn't give you the tip I prepared if you gave me a face. The hotel has a check-out time of 11 o'clock, please note this. I agreed to 12 o'clock, and he called me at 11:30 to ask me to check out, otherwise I would be fined 5000 rupees...haha

[Location] It's not in the center, it's on the mountainside. It looks like one to two kilometers away from the city, and it's better to be quiet.
In the afternoon, I felt a bit cold.
The English-style manor looks quite good overall, but it is estimated to be old and the rooms are average. Although warm, it is not good.
The dining experience is good, but the service charge is quite expensive. Dinner is a la carte and shows. I also sing a lot of Chinese songs ...
Asked the waiter to help book a rush in the morning and packed breakfast, which was not bad.

I stayed at Jinling for two nights and it was quite good. The hotel is located on a hillside. The scenery outside the window is very beautiful. The temperature is several degrees lower. It often rains. It is very close to the Pink Post Office and the Governor's Palace.

I didn't expect in the rainy season, but it was sunny and cloudy and it was easy to spend without being too hot. The employee feels good.

TTalushaWe traveled from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya by train and this is the most picturesque road in Ceylon. The station is called Nanu Oya, it is 5.5 km from it to the city and the hotel. Ignore the taxi drivers and walk from the station forward and slightly up to the bus stop 746, which takes you to the city center in 20 minutes (the fare is 70 rupees, tukers asked for 1000). From the bus station we walked for half an hour, tukers ask for 400 (some even 700) for 2 km. I donโt know why there is a โhostelโ in the name, because it is a guest house, in the back of which the owners live. On our visit, we were alone, a room with a private bathroom, there is a very nice shared kitchen with tea, dishes, where we cooked our breakfasts and dinners. In the description of the hotel on the trip it is written about the Internet โcontact the hotelโ, there is Internet and it is normal, probably they made a mistake in the description. Despite the blanket on the bed, it does not help, it is very cold at night, on the second night I had to sleep in jeans and a sweatshirt, during the day it was +16, at night it seems to drop to 5-6. Who would have thought that you need to take fleece pajamas with you to Ceylon, like in England! It's good that I took slippers.
The hotel is located far from the main road, so it is quiet here. True, in the mornings under the windows they either mowed the grass or repaired a motorcycle, I do not understand why this must be done at 6 am. No questions about cleanliness, no mold, apparently it is cold and there is an influx of air in the bathroom.
I liked the hotel, a very nice family atmosphere, thanks to the owner.

SSnow722Arriving in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two-story small building of this villa is quite suitable for couples or a family of four. Since our tour guide only accompanies us for one day, we solved the dinner problem before arriving at the destination. If you donโt prepare dinner, the waiter at the hotel will use tutu Drive customers down the mountain to eat. But we have to come back before ten o'clock in the evening. Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The sound of praying for blessing accompanies us to sleep and accompanies us to get up early and open the window to see the best mountain village in Lanka, surrounded by clouds and mist. Generally speaking, the focus is on the bathtub with a very good view. It is just the decoration because the temperature here is low and the hot water is not enough. It is not enough to take a bath. The hot water was gone as soon as I applied the shampoo. The whole process of shampooing my hair with ice water even though I felt super helpless. The first day of 2019 was very speechless. Breakfast was the bread โ eggs โ ham sausage delivered the night before. Make your own omelette. Ok

GGuest UserI was staying at a B&B in the countryside. It was a very European-style house. I was afraid that the single room would not have an independent bathroom, so I booked a room on the second floor with a bathroom with a bathtub. The toilet is relatively simple. The house is mostly made of wood, so the sound insulation is not very good. Because of the sloping roof, sleeping on the top of your head is quite depressing. The equipment inside the house is relatively old and aging. If you want to go out to eat, you must call a tuk-tuk. You can ask the landlord to help you call it, and you can also ask about the price to prevent being ripped off. What I am most dissatisfied with is the wifi. Even if there is no signal there, even the wifi at home seems to be non-existent. It seems to be fake wifi. The mobile phone has a full wifi signal, but there is no network.

The room is very large, with two king-sized double beds, which is enough for a family of four. The room has a balcony facing the tea garden. The view is very good, and we can sit there. It was very comfortable to drink tea and chat. The hotel provided breakfast, which was prepared for us early in the morning. We were given two boxes of tea before leaving. Recommended

LlwywylThe hotel is set in a relaxing and quaint private estate designed to look like a scenic English countryside (which it successfully replicates). Staff are friendly and helpful. The western food at the restaurant is good, which is important as there are no other dining options nearby if you do not have a car/tuk tuk. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We were pleased with our stay

TTitiThe hotel is small, but each floor only have 4 rooms and each has balcony.
Remember to ask receptionist to clean the room if you stay 2 nights.
The position is really good, near market, coffee shop, interesting sightseeings.
No breakfast included, you prepare/arrange by yourself.

GGuest UserThe hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel.
I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer.
Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.
