From check in time to check out we were treated like royalty. Sanath the butler did a wonderful job making our stay comfortable and enjoyable . He brought all of our bags in to our rooms, made our beds, waited our table for breakfast/dinner, and made sure to bring our morning tea/coffee right on time. We truly felt like we were home. The food was absolutely delicious, Chef Kelum put a lot of love and passion into his cooking and always made sure everything was to our liking. The attention to detail and the effort put in by these two made our stay unforgettable. If you are looking for a serene/peaceful location with beautiful views and great service I highly recommend JetWing Broomfield. This villa is also owned by the Bandarainke family and has a lot of history the decorations and furniture gives it a very beautiful old school feel. I will be sure to visit again.

An amazing location in the middle of the tea planation. The hotel is an historically building once owned by the brother of the first prime minister of Sri Lanka. We stayed in the Princess Room. Two extra king size beds along with all amenities. Also heater as evenings can be cool. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were kind and considerate. Food lovely and the majority locally sourced. Would recommend.

As a transition hotel between the two Resplendent Ceylon hotels, this British-style hotel located in Noir Aire is good. The lobby, restaurant, and courtyard facilities are rich. The food in the restaurant is also diverse and delicious, and the price is very cost-effective. , the only disadvantage is that due to the high altitude of 2400 meters, the temperature is low, the room is cold, there is no air conditioning, and the cup feels a bit damp.

We enjoyed four days at Ferncliff Bungalow and the resident manager, chef, and all the staff were incredibly professional, informative, and extremely attentive. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with blooming trees, flowers, and gardens. The manager even provided us with a small rosemary plant to bring home (we live in Colombo) when we expressed how hard it was to find rosemary in the city. The room was very large, extremely comfortable, and we LOVED the hot water bottles brought to us in the evening. Also very much enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace in the dining hall. We will definitely be visiting again.

Me and my husband went to a 7 day vacation to the firs. The place is aesthetically pleasing and has a rustic vibe to it. The hospitality was a 10/10. The staff were helpful and kind and always had a big smile on their face. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The manager Sudharshan was especially kind and guided us throughout our journey. The food was amazing many varieties to choose from. My husband loved the Sri Lankan cuisine from there. A big Thank you to the team of the firs! ❤️

Arriving in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two-story small building of this villa is quite suitable for couples or a family of four. Since our tour guide only accompanies us for one day, we solved the dinner problem before arriving at the destination. If you don’t prepare dinner, the waiter at the hotel will use tutu Drive customers down the mountain to eat. But we have to come back before ten o'clock in the evening. Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The sound of praying for blessing accompanies us to sleep and accompanies us to get up early and open the window to see the best mountain village in Lanka, surrounded by clouds and mist. Generally speaking, the focus is on the bathtub with a very good view. It is just the decoration because the temperature here is low and the hot water is not enough. It is not enough to take a bath. The hot water was gone as soon as I applied the shampoo. The whole process of shampooing my hair with ice water even though I felt super helpless. The first day of 2019 was very speechless. We first stayed at the Glendower hotel about 20+ years ago, it was dated then, and fairly well maintained. We thought after 20+ years it would have been updated, but sadly not. Our recent stay at this hotel was from Feb.8-11. Glendower hotel is centrally located and the food was excellent. The rooms are very spacious. The restaurant and bar area was tidy. The garden was immaculate. However, we faced many issues during our stay and management was promptly informed and most of the matters were resolved. The staff need to be able to speak and understand English. I would be happy to discuss our impressions and observations with the management/owners if they are interested in hearing about our experiences. Bottom line is CLEANLINESS is of utmost importance and staff should be trained to check all aspects of the rooms before they are released to guests. More staff is required to manage this lovely colonial-style hotel.

We had such a nice and wholesome stay at the Lynden Grove. We were here for 1 night only as part of a longer tour of Sri Lanka and we were offered a room upgrade. We got given the room with a jacuzzi which was a fantastic treat! The hotel is boutique and only has few rooms but the room was spotlessly clean, staff very attentive and had a great vibe. The entertainment room was also a great addition as we enjoyed a game of pool in the evening. The buffet here was not one that particularly impressed us on our trip - choices were limited, however considering this hotel only has such few rooms it is understandable.

We stayed here for one night when visiting Horton Plains. An ideal ideal place to stay, centrally located, with a comfortable ensuite bedroom and sitting area. We were welcomed with warm soup and opted for the Sri Lankan menu which we ate in the dining room at the cottage. They provided a great picnic breakfast/lunch for our walk the next day. We were well looked after by the charming Ramjith who has worked for Jetwing for many years and was a mine of information. A great place to stay!

Because the road to the store is small and poor, because my chartered car is difficult to drive up, I asked for a small three-wheeled road to the foot of the mountain (about 500 meters away) and also charged me the fare!
