Pretty much almost Travelodge excellence get a proper AC system instead of the awful tiny fan like most of the Travelodges I’ve been to and you’ll be a 100% in my book. Other then no AC I can’t fault the place

I came to the Crown Plaza, Nottingham for a conference early June. The hotel itself was nice, modern and comfortable. My room was not adequately cleaned as there were hairs in my shower upon arrival, unreplenished hygiene products in the bathroom and the toilet uncleaned. The room Itself was small, but fine for sleeping in. My TV did not work, but as it was one night this wasn’t a bother. The breakfast and lunch were great, formal dinner however was awful and poor, not worth paying for. Servers were unversed in allergen training, and the allergen and dietary requirement food options were awfully poor. The manager on duty however, was apologetic and wonderful. The best thing about this hotel was the staff (excusing F&B teams poor allergen training and food options). Particularly Abigail, Malakai and Zak on the bar who were so warm, polite and accommodating. Wonderful service throughout and a credit to the team. Thank you three.

The room is very large and comfortable, the stay experience is not bad, the sanitation facilities are OK, overall it is quite satisfactory, the reception service at the front desk is also very warm, that is, it is a little tired to go out and climb the slope.

I really wish I'd paid attention to the negative reviews of this hotel before I booked. I paid £153 for a single night of misery here, when it seems other nights are about £35-40 -- but even at that cheaper price, I'd still avoid it like a plague. The hotel has no parking, and on-street parking was non-existent. The corridors on our floor reeked of smoke, with a hint of ********* smoke. On first glance, our room was fine. Decent size, big windows etc. However, closer inspection revealed: - red stains on the wall, that looked like some sort of jam but who knows. - brown stains on the wall, I shudder to think what these were - the tap on the kitchen sink was not securely attached to the sink and came off when i tried to use it - the shower cubicle smelled of raw sewage - the bathroom needed a deep clean, lots of (what looked like) pubic hair on the floor, and general 'shower gunge' build up - there was about 20% of a full toilet roll available, with no others provided - the bed was presentable, but had long black hairs inside and under the sheet - the sheet was way too small, and uncovered the mattress during use - the walls in the room were paper-thin Additionally, and I can't really blame the hotel for this, next door is a student bar that was very loud most of the night, but nothing compared to the people in the room next to ours that played very loud music until 1am. Not the relaxing night before a 13.1 mile run we wanted!

Very good, the service attitude is very good, the front desk is great! Facilities: Good takeout is very convenient Hygiene: Very good, very clean, Environment: Very comfortable and clean, Service: We also got coffee☕️.

It was a really cozy New Year's Eve. Absolutely loved the calming and relaxing sauna, jacuzzi and pool. They do great breakfast as well. Loved it! Highly recommend it to people looking for a cozy getaway in a nice neighborhood.

We stayed in the hotel over the weekend (Fri, Sat & Sunday) as we were attending ”The Gloworm Festival” with other family members who were glamping. The room was small, but was perfect for our activity which was get up, get ready, and go out to the festival! We slept like logs as the beds were nice and comfy. Using the bedroom as a base to be located in and to safely store our belongings was perfect. The TV in our room was the size of a postage stamp but who cares, we were at the festival. It fit the bill for our needs so we give it a thumbs up. On leaving we spent a few minutes chatting to a lovely staff member who brought some festive cheer to my mood (I am sorry I did not catch the gent's name but we will call him ”Santa Klaus” for those who know! But what a lovely man to have at the reception desk. Was it the best hotel I have visited, no. Was it the worst, no. But for our weekend it did all we asked for and for all that was needed. A safe warm place to sleep with safe parking and nice staff.

It was really outrageous. There was no explanation on the Ctrip hotel introduction. When we took a taxi to the hotel at night and checked in, we were told that the room we booked was not at the hotel address. After checking in, we had to drive 5 minutes away, and our taxi had already left. There was no front desk and no room service at the place where we were going to check in. We had to ask the hotel to call a car for us and pay extra to check in. It was dark and blind before we found the place. We asked the driver to use the car lights. There were several two-story buildings in front of us. We didn’t know which building it was. We tried to open the door with the key. It was like a scene from a horror movie. I turned on the lights in the living room on the first floor and the study. I was almost scared to retreat. Then I went to the second floor and couldn’t find the lights. I pushed open a door with a key inserted. There was someone inside. I screamed in fear! After confirming that it was other guests of the hotel, I felt relieved. Otherwise, I would never dare to stay in such a dark building with my children! Ctrip, did you know this was the case? Is it true that whatever the agent says is the truth? Such a place is not suitable to be sold to Chinese customers who do not drive themselves. You didn't even explain it in a word. I will argue with you after I return home!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my lifetime The good points are very limited but here they are: Friendly staff Plenty of parking at rear of the building Comfortable beds Very good quality towels Can open the window in the room Room clean and tidy And here are the bad points: Very dated Stained and tread bearing carpets on stairs Poor lighting Bath - shower curtain very dirty needs replacing and water is too hot when it comes out - be aware Not a lot clothes hangers On main road Unable to get soya milk for my room. They will bring the milk for breakfast was the answer I got and no decaf coffee in the room (I did bring some decaf coffee myself which I had to use at breakfast too as it was not available) No sound proofing to the room People on the corridor floor when I returned to my room as the children were sleeping in the room and they were not ready for bed. Never experienced this at any hotel I have stayed at before No toiletries supplied Half rolls of toilet paper No bath mat - had to use one of the hand towels Very noisy fan in the bathroom Let’s start on the breakfast which is served from 8am to 10am only Poor breakfast won’t change anything like the eggs even if you have dietary restrictions No decaf coffee at the breakfast room did get the soya milk Some of the fruit passed it best date High sugar cereals No yoghurt Poor choices for breakfast Croissants very dry and not warm at all The main restaurant on your right when you enter the building is bright and modern, it’s a shame that the rest of the building is not like that This hotel is worse than the hotel in the tv show Faulty Towers if remember that show Would I return to this place? NEVER
