The hotel is in a good location in North Charleston. The only complaint I have is that the shower floor was dirty so we end up using Micro Ban and shower shoes and the blanket on the bed  had a stain on it but front desk sent us clean blankets and sheets.

The Courtyard by Marriott in North Charleston looks very nice from the outside, and it's clear the designers/builders did a great job. With that said, it's in need of TLC. The furniture was dirty and scuffed. The walls of the room and bathroom had scratches and green markings. The paint in the ceiling of the shower was peeling. The carpet did not feel cared for.   Pros: Location - Right off I-26  Cons: Location - This is located adjacent to a seedy area. Be alert in the parking lot at night.  Staff - The staff were either rude or apathetic. Not a single staff member smiled or issued a greeting.   Advice to management: Invest in minor renovation. The staff morale is low. 

The employees at the hotel were so polite and friendly! Room was clean and smelled nice. This was our second stay. Good value for the money. Great, central location for all of Charleston. Can’t wait to see the renovations! We’ll stay here again!
